Story
Three thousand years have passed since the first colonists left Earth. Now the galaxy is divided between the militant star empires and independent mercenary groups. In a remote corner of the galaxy — Sector 1337, the area of the dead — a world has been left behind. Here, the ruins of a great civilization of Aliens have recently been discovered. Huge factories and sprawling cities are falling into decay. Fragments of ships lie on the fields where massive battles were once fought. But there is not a living soul. Everything has been destroyed by a mysterious Cataclysm — a pulsing anomaly that burned out all life within this sector.This doesn’t stop mankind, the new «owner» of the Universe. Mercenaries and adventurers have flocked to the sector to sift through the ruins and loot its abandoned artifacts, without consideration of the danger. Many have disappeared — including members of well-armed expeditions — but those who have managed to return have uncovered unprecedented riches. So looters continue to come here, to find the Aliens’ lost treasures — and to fight for them.

[p align=\"right\"]Line system,\nEllydium Theta station[/p]Greetings, dear viewers and listeners! Welcome to The Frontier Voice, this is Max The Comet speaking to you from the Ellydium Theta station. Over the past year, a lot has happened in the Frontier: the return of the Emperor, the battle between the huge fleet and the Precursors. Todays publication will cover events that are not as large-scale, but still interesting. Our issue this time will be somewhat unconventional, as it will be based on an interview with Arthur Gage, one of the UMC coordinators. We would like to thank the UMC for the opportunity to conduct this interview and for providing us with an office. Our stories today are:
Storage expansion: the bureaucratic machine of the UMC has finally given the green light to the expansion of the infrastructure available to mercenaries, primarily the storage;
[/*]The return of the Enclave: corporations have driven the Enclave out of some of the systems favored by pirates. Rumor is that pirates are gathering strength and planning to capture new sectors;
[/*]Explorers of the Limitless: some pilots decided to stage illegal battles on Apeiron ships, inflicting damage exclusively by ramming. Representatives of the Federation security service announced a search for the organizers.;
[/*]Glass ships: there are rumors that a new contract is being worked out for the production of a new line of ships for the so-called Glass squadron.

Interview
Good afternoon, Arthur! Tell us about your project. Am I correct in understanding that you are building something at the main stations where your offices are located?
Hello, Max. Our mercenaries use the latest weapons and ships. And this creates a problem: the modules and weapons developed after the invasion began were often not standardized for common purposes, which is why we needed huge spaces for storage. The best and richest of our mercenaries have already complained, resentful that they literally lack the storage offered by our own organization. Due to the recent improvements in the Frontier, the number of refugees has decreased, and the station administrations have allowed us to purchase some now unused space near the docks for our storage. Thus, it can be assumed that very soon some of the mercenaries will be able to expand the size of their available storage.
How many mercenaries have reached the limit of available storage?
I cant give exact numbers, but at least several thousand people.
Thank you for the information! Now, allow me to ask a few more questions. They may be very important to my audience.
Go ahead, we still have half an hour to talk.
I recently heard that the Enclave has reappeared in the Frontier. How would you comment on this rumor?
Officially, I can say that I have no confirmation of this information at the moment, but my mercenaries have reported several unidentified ships near Artuga. I would advise caution when traveling there and to bring the best security and mercenaries.
What do you think the pirates goals might be in the Frontier?
To seize small territories. Although corporations and our mercenaries have driven them out of most systems, many pirate stations and transit points still remain. Recently, they became quite vicious, and even if they know that an entire squadron could blow them to smithereens, their thirst for profit has not disappeared.
I have some news: some pilots who bought the Apeiron have created a club called Explorers of the Limitless, where they fight each other to death, but using only ramming. The Federation security service has even put out a warrant for them. My question is: do UMC mercenaries participate in this?
I cant speak for everyone, but I can only assume that there are more than a few among us who are willing to take part in this kind of thing.
And one last question. The Glass squadron. What can you tell us about it and your plans to acquire more of these ships for mercenaries?
How did you find out about it? Well, one of my people must have let it slip. But overall, theres nothing much to hide here. Crystal, Ice, or, as you called it, Glass squadron is the general name for a new line of ships created by the Blackwood corporation on our order. The UMC was interested in ships that fully utilize modern developments in the field of AI, and we also managed to get their Ariadne to make calculations that allowed the corporations engineers to adapt many unique modules for the ships of the Glass squadron. Why is it called glass? A side effect of the development was that the structures turned out to be somewhat fragile. Time will tell how widespread these ships will become, but we believe that this will not be a misguided investment.
Thank you, Arthur Gage! Ill stop recording now. Since we both have a little time left, I suggest we continue our conversation outside of the interview.
Max The Comet of The Frontier Voice signing off! Be careful when traveling through the Frontier!
