This minor update fixes a problem with starting the game on new ARM (M1+) Macs.
This update turns Conquest of Elysium 3 into a 64-bit game. The main reason for this update is to make sure the game continues to run on modern OSes, but there are also some bug fixes that have accumulated over the years. Most importantly this update is required to be able to continue to use this game on Macs. If someone still uses a 32-bit OS for some reason, it is possible to continue to run the old version by opting in to the legacy private beta in steam (password: legacylegacy). General changes

This update makes the world creation much faster and it speeds up large area effects during combat. This should eliminate the need for fast forward in battles where e.g. an earthquake affects a large army. There are also some balance improvements and the usual bug fixes.

The number and type of independents are more bound to the type of society and there some special features have been added to the Empire and the Dawn of a New Empire. The capital of the Empire now has an emperor and spawns wandering soldiers and peddlars. The new capital in Dawn of a new Empire got a group of counsilors. New features:
