A new update just dropped for They Bleed Pixels sorting out some issues that have come up over the years as new hardware has been released and operating systems have updated. Here are the highlights: tbphappy macOS Catalina support! For those who don't know, the latest macOS version cut off support for 32-bit games and apps, including They Bleed Pixels. This update brings us up to 64-bit making it compatible with Catalina and future macOS updates. tbphappy Fixes for issues caused by Windows 10 and newer hardware! A small number of players have run into issues with They Bleed Pixels not loading on newer hardware in Windows 10. This update should handle those special cases. Give us a shout if it doesn't! tbphappy Improved Gamepad support This includes a number of things. Support for hot swapping. New button images and detection for Dual Shock, Xbox One and Switch Pro controllers and a fix for the bug that caused sticky inputs when playing on keyboard with a gamepad plugged in. We strongly recommend not using any of Steam's built in gamepad support when playing the game. The game does a much better job providing correct button prompts etc.. They Bleed Pixels is a fiendishly difficult action platformer inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and classic horror. Rendered in a distinct visual style that blends pixel art with paper and ink textures, They Bleed Pixels is a singular mix of intense platforming and fierce beat-em-up action. At the core of its fighting system is a simple one-button combat scheme with surprising depth and versatility. Button mashing is discouraged while kicking shadowy monsters into saws, pits and spikes is rewarded, thanks to a unique system that lets you earn and place your own checkpoints through stylish kills. The fancier your kills, the faster you fill the checkpoint meter.

When a young girl arrives at the Lafcadio Academy for Troubled Young Ladies, she's unprepared for the violent nightmares that plague her dreams and transport her to other worlds. Worse yet, her dreams are intruding into her waking life, slowly altering her flesh into the demonic form of her night terrors. Can she destroy the mysterious blood-soaked book that appears to be the root of her troubles or will her transmutation from girl to clawed horror become complete?
