Splice is in The Humble Bundle! |
We're super excited to announce that we made it into The Humble Bundle! Through November 21st, you can pick up Splice, Eufloria, Waking Mars, Machinarium, Crayon Physics, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, and the soundtracks for each game at a fraction of their sale prices!
The Humble Bundle for Android #4 launched last Thursday and has since sold nearly 120,000 copies! But thats not even the most exciting part: Splice is now available on both Android and Linux for the first time ever! Pocket Gamer announced just yesterday that by popular vote Splice is this week's !
Each game in the bundle is available for Android, Linux, Mac, PC, and even Steam. Check out the system requirements page to see if you device is supported.
You pick how much you want to pay for the bundle. You even get to decide where the money goes. Part of the proceeds go charity. The rest goes on to support the indie developers participating in the bundle, and to the kind folks that support and run The Humble Bundle.
Thank you so much for your generous support, and for playing our games!
We love you!

PAX10! IndieCade! Freeplay! Oh My! |
PAX Prime was awesome! Big thanks to everyone that came out to see us! It was great meeting some of you for the first time and showing off Splice one-on-one with folks. If you missed out on PAX or weren’t able to stop by the booth, there’s a great write-up on the PAX10 over at Geek’sDreamGirl.
Splice : Tree of Life has been a big success for us since its release for the iPad on the eve of PAX. Who knew touch would have made such a difference! Kotaku named it Gaming App of the Day in the first week of release, and TouchArcade gave the game a review score of 4.5 out of 5 stars, stating that “few apps offer the elegance that is Splice : Tree of Life.”
IndieCade Awards
We’re totally stoked about this year’s International Festival of Independent Games, where Splice is nominated for the 2012 IndieCade Awards! If you’re in Culver City next month, come out to see us at IndieCade! We’ll have a small table setup for everyone to play Splice.
Freeplay Awards
The gents over at Freeplay have selected Splice as a finalist in Australia’s Freeplay Awards as Best International Game of the year! The 2012 Freeplay Awards will be presented as part of the Freeplay Independent Games Festival on September 23 at the Order of Melbourne. As much as we would absolutely love a trip to the land down under, it just ain’t in the budget. Congrats to all the finalists!

Splice + Screenshots = FREE Games |
If you missed out on the chance to snag one of the Steam game codes given away on Twitter this week—no worries—we’ve got another opportunity here for you to get your hands on free games from Cipher Prime!
The point of this challenge is to be creative with the game mechanics. We want to see what interesting imagery people can come up with given the structures available in Splice. We’ll be selecting up to 7 screenshots to be featured as downloadable desktop backgrounds. Entries should be taken at the highest resolution available and in full-screen mode .
Take screenshots using the Steam client and add them to your Steam profile’s library of screenshots. To submit your entry, post a link of the full-size screenshot image to the Splice Screenshot Challenge forum thread. If you can wow the pants off us, we’ll offer you up a free Steam key to one of Cipher Prime’s games of your choosing. Exceptional screenshots will be credited with your name and made available for download as desktop backgrounds through this group page (see the Game Art section below).
The challenge will continue until all 7 screenshots have been chosen. So fire up Steam, hop on into Splice, start feverishly mashing that F12 key, and show us what you got!
Ready. Set. Post away!

Now Available - Splice |
Splice, the latest puzzle game from the creators of Auditorium and Fractal, is now available on Steam!
Splice is an experimental and artistic puzzler. Every level ("strand") consists of a number of cells that you will need to rearrange into a target structure in several moves ("splices"). Exploration and experimentation are key in determining how the curious little cells react to each other. Predict the sequence of splices you'll have to make in order to successfully arrange each strand. Solve your way to the final strands and you'll be left with a heady sense of mental accomplishment!

The Splices Are Coming! |
Well, we’ve got some very cool news! Development of Splice is going swimmingly and we’re happy to say that we were featured in Kotaku’s Indie Spotlight yesterday!
We put up a few screenshots of our latest build on our games page and there’s a new gameplay trailer available through the Kotaku article. (More media will come in the next few days.)
We can tell you that the game will feature almost a hundred strands (puzzles), many of which are dastardly difficult to solve! You’ll also be able to enjoy fourteen new Dain Saint joints that you’ll be humming all day. Splice is an incredibly immersive experience, and if you’re a puzzle person, we promise you frustration and sweet, sweet mental victories!
The game is going to be released on Steam for PC/Mac on June 13, and pre-orders (which will include Splice’s official soundtrack and a discount) will be available June 6!
Stay tuned for more Splice!
