Hello Thieves, Quick update fixing some of the issues people had, mostly with online co-op. Online co-op was released well after the initial release of the game so there weren't many bug reports at the time. Currently only available on Windows version, Linux will be updated soon.

The story of Mace, a young scavenger recently promoted to the Resource Collection Department for the Narvas Colonies. Hello Thieves, I know it has been a long time since the last update. We have not stopped development but are getting close to our final release. This update has two huge features that took most our time since the last update and since they are so big, may come with more bugs that need work. Since there is only so much 2-3 people can test we have decided to open the update in a separate BETA branch to help with testing. After a short time in the BETA branch we will push the update to the live public branch. The first of this is the conversion from running off your computer's FPS to delta time. This in itself brings a lot of bug fixes with menus and different monitor's frequencies but also improves performance on lower end pc's. Please report all bugs that have anything to do with timing or frame count in order to help out. The second big update is ONLINE CO-OP. We honestly had not planned on this but with the many comments that this game needed it we decided to incorporate it into Mini-Thief. Again, this is early stages and we have been testing for over a month but there is only so much a small staff can do so we are looking to the player-base to report any bugs so we can fix them before the push to the public branch. Online Co-op is only available for the Story Mode, so you will not be able to play Custom, Workshop maps or go to the pawn shop with anyone else.

Hello Thieves, I know a lot of time has gone by since our last update but its been a wild Summer. Firstly, a special thanks to everyone that provided feedback. There has been some gameplay updates but most of the time spent has been on the House Editor and the newly added Workshop support. The reason for the length of time was that we did not want to release an update with already known bugs and shoddy Workshop support, so we finally got the game to a state that is ready for the public. Unfortunately, due to Game Maker's limited file system control, full workshop support is only available to Windows users. We will continue working towards support for our Linux users and will try getting a hotfix out as soon as we can. Workshop has been implemented so that no prior knowledge is necessary to contribute. It is extremely easy to upload and update a house on your workshop so all you need to do is come up with crazy houses! Stranga and I have uploaded a few houses to the workshop in order to test various features, so whereas you may download them.... Don't expect much because they are ONLY for testing and will probably be deleted soon.
Hello Thieves, I apologize about the delay of announcements , but we are still worku b g in th3 game and drawing closer to the finish line. After we finish fixing the bugs with workshop, the game will be given a quick polish ready for release. We havn't abandoned the project and we will keep working on it even after it's release. But we will be starting a new game after Mini Thief and will keep everyone posted about that as well. And again, we do apologize for the delay of announcements and hope to finish the game very soon.

Hopefully fixing things like bugs, crashes, and other reasons people have not been able to play yet. But this is just a small update that needed to go out. Hello Thieves! We have pushed the new Online portion of Mini Thief to the default build due to the lack of Bug Reports (hopefully its a good sign). So all versions of the game should work with the Steamworks API networking. At the moment, there is only randomized matchmaking. Have also fixed various bugs and addition a few things here and there. Check back for any updates on the list.
Hello everyone! We have a temporary fix to the door in the pawnshop, which you can still access the achievement. The fix is in the online beta version (The previous post has instructions oh how to access the beta) which is free for everyone. This will be implimented in the next update along with a few other things.

Happy Holidays, Thieves! 'Tis the season for thievery. We bring you an big update before the big day. Check out the Changelog below for the details. Also as discussed we will be switching online mode to Steamworks API Network which means no more IP entering. Shouldn't be much longer as the connections and the gameplay are all synced up and just need to incorporate rules and structure back into the PvP mode; i.e. Lobbies, Role switching (owner/thief). This biggest change in this update is the introduction to our House Creator. Hate our levels? Make your own, save it, then play it! It is very much in its beginning stages so I wouldn't be surprised if there are bugs and crashes but it is very functional in its current state. At the moment, we have not set up Workshop with the game but it is on our to-do list so we're hoping that won't take long either. Though you can't share your houses through Workshop, all houses you create are saved locally into a single .ini file so you can always take it upon yourself to share until the Workshop is up and running. All houses are saved to the game's local application data folders (i.e. Windows - %APPDATA%LocalMini_ThiefCustom Houses).

We have updated the crash fix from out last halloween update with version 1.08.4 Alpha v1.08.4 - Fixed Crash when escaping any level - Added extention to tutorial level with more hints and tips! We have been notified about the crash that occurs on level one which looks like this: FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object oMasterController Unable to find any instance for object index '0' name 'oPlayer' at gml_Object_oMasterController_Step_ This occurs whilst trying to escape the first house. Rest assured we are working on rectifing this problem immediately.

Hello Thieves! Been a couple weeks since the last update but we've made a lot of changes. Introducing new level, tools, and traps that should change gameplay drastically. Also one of the biggest changes is randomized levels. There are now some randomization to level; NPCs MAY no longer follow a given path and security items locations have been mixed up and randomized so its very unlikely to have the same experience twice. We have also added new hats/costumes that can be changed in the dressing room in the pawn shop as well as netcode optimizations. A large change we have done is to the safe you can buy in the pawn shop. We have drastically lowered the price of the safe however is only a ONE TIME USE. This is to make it act like an insurance system if you are unsure if you will succeed the next level, spend some money and buy some insurance. All change you can view in the changelog. Hello Thieves! Listed is the Changelog for the most recent update. Sorry for the delay, but as you can see there were a lot of changes, most notably Online PvP is up and running **IN A TESTING STAGE**. There are no rewards/punishments for online play at the moment, we are releasing this just to gather information to better assess how to balance the online game proper so all feedback (not on this thread, please make a thread in the Suggestions sub-forum) is greatly appreciated.
