Free 2 Play | F2P
8Bit Fiesta is now a free to play game on Steam! This means that anyone will be able to play it for free and if they like it they can buy game packs to unlock more games to play.
What about premium users?
Everyone who bought the game before the transition to F2P is a premium user and will automatically recieve all game packs for free so your game is fully unlocked which the f2p version is not. So in short, premium version = all mini games and f2p version = not all mini games. This way both free and premium users will have paid the same price for the fully unlocked game in the end.
Why F2P
We want to show as many as possible how fun you can have with the game and by going F2P we give people the chance to try it out risk free. There are so many games on Steam and it is hard to get noticed so hopefully this will help to shed some light on the game so we can continue to make awesome party games.
8Bit Fiesta Sequel?
Yes, as many of you have guessed there is an HD sequel in the making. The goal is to take everything that was great in the first game, add a ton more, make it in HD graphics, polish it like crazy and make it the most insane party game ever created. That is a promise! It has been a hectic christmas this year so this update was a bit delayed. So sorry for that. In this update you'll find the new mini game "Air Smash" where you fly around at random and have to time your shots to pop your opponents balloons. I have also listened to the feedback from the forum and tweaked some games based on it. And as usual fixed a bunch of minor bugs and the disappearing music bug is one of them :) If you have any feedback you would like to share then please do it on the discussion board instead of the comments below. I'm working on the next update of 8Bit Fiesta but took a short break and started experimenting a bit with 3D. So I decided to try to make a 3D version of the Physball mini game in 8Bit Fiesta.
So here it is if you want to try it out. It is called BigChick Blueballs and can be downloaded here for free

Update Info
Finally time for an update. As the big major update is a bit delayed the decision has been made to start releasing smaller updates more often again with new content and mini games to play. So here is the first of these updates :)
NEW SAVE SYSTEM!
The save system has been changed in this version so to load your old save files you'll have to run the "savetool.exe" in the installation folder and your old saves will be available again when you start the game.
And if you have any problems with the new version then you can play the previous version which you'll find in the installation folder under "Previous Version".

I just wanted to post a little message about the upcoming updates so you don't think I have disappeared into thin air or something :D I've been hard at work and have recieved plenty of feedback from the community and I have tried to implement as much of your ideas as I can into the game. So a lot of work has been made to polish the existing game and implementing new content and features at the same time. This means that instead of many small updates there will be fewer but bigger ones. Small patches have been released in silence during this time but big updates will always come with an announcement. So here is a little list of what is coming in future updates:

The floating ball bug in Wolly Bolly has now been patched and should work as normal again. Please let me know if the problem persists.

QUICK QUESTION
The game was updated yesterday with two versions of the game. One for windows 32bit and one for 64bit. Has anyone noticed any issues with the game since the latest update? If you have any problems regarding this then please post it in the comments or on the discussion board. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone. Some of you may have encountered an issue with a random crash during a local multiplayer tournament. This has now been fixed and if you restart steam it will update the game. If you still have any issues with this random crash then please post a bug report in the discussions or comment below. Still Thirsty Roulette has been added to the Fiesta Mode where additional drinks are handed out to a random player. This will pop up once in a while during the tournament.
