As of yesterday, our new murder mystery GENBA no Kizuna is out! The OST is also available here! It has been a long and arduous development journey and it honestly still hasn't fully sunk in that, at long last, we have managed to arrive at our destination. It just feels too surreal! But we're very excited to have made it here and that we can finally welcome you at the Kaseki residence! We'd like to give a huge thank you to all of you who have been eagerly anticipating this moment and we are deeply sorry for all the delays (as well as for the initial launch hiccups, in case you're among the people who were right there for it and immediately ran into a rather unfortunate issue...). We truly appreciate your patience and are immensely grateful for your support! While very similar in many regards, GENBA is also rather different from SHINRAI, which kinda has us a bit worried about how you might perceive it, but we hope that you will still enjoy it and have a T-Rexcellent time cracking this new, prehistoric case! On that note, if you do decide to give it a go, we'd be very happy to hear your impressions, feedback and suggestions, so that we can keep improving ourselves with future works! You can always contact me privately at gospel@gosatsu.com, but of course, leaving us a Steam review would be even neater, as those will not only help indecisive folks gain more clarity on whether or not GENBA might be their thing, breaking the 10 review mark is a first crucial step for any small indiedev, as it will provide a boost in visibility, so more people can even learn about the game's existence! Therefore, we'd also be incredibly grateful if you could help us get there ASAP! To be clear, though (and this should hopefully go without saying), we really do want to hear your honest and genuine opinions, so even if you didn't like GENBA, if you could articulate your reasons and help us understand what we can do better the next time around, that'd still be really helpful! But with all of that out of the way now, let's move on to the second topic of this post real quick! We are currently also celebrating the 8th anniversary of SHINRAI's release and, as you may remember from GENBA's release date announcement post, we were planning to publish a tiny update for SHINRAI, primarily to fix a really wild (though thankfully quite difficult to trigger) glitch. The update was supposed to go live yesterday, but we ended up having our hands so full with the GENBA release that it had to be postponed. So apologies for that, too, but we'll get to it ASAP!
