The moment has finally arrived and it feels absolutely surreal. Memoir En Code: Reissue is now available and everyone can play it. It feels surreal because this project was born with the idea of exploring autobiography in games, and I was now able to release it in its new, darker, reincarnation.
I feel incredibly weird about it because I never imagined that this game would then transform and take this unexpected turn. But I felt like I couldn't release it if it was not absolutely true to my life and my feelings. So there you go, the game is now more mature, someone would say that it's now more sad. In an industry where "mature" means blood and sex, I am trying to push the idea that we should try and make more personal games, covering topics that are usually ignored in our medium.
In order to do this I had to develop a new part of the game which I can't even play anymore. It was an incredibly painful process and believe me when I say that you can't understand what it meant to work on it while being in pieces. But at the end of the day I am so glad I did this, and I know I will always be proud of this broken piece of code.
This is a bright day and things luckily move on. I'm now looking forward to work on my next thing.

F.A.Q.
How does Reissue differ from the original Memoir En Code released in 2015?
The game features all new graphics, interface, and parts of it have been re-designed. Reissue also includes a new final track to give closure to the game, plus the dev commentary. Take it as a sort of HD Remaster Extended Director's Cut edition.
Should I buy this game?
If you like experimental games, yes.
If you don't like experimental games, maybe.
If you give more value to content than length, yes.
If you give more value to length than content, no.
Can I put a Let's Play video on YouTube?
Yes BUT, considering that the game is fairly short, I'd appreciate if you could at least avoid recording the new (last) track called Lei Disse as well as the solution of Memoir De Code.
