Milestone 0.4.1 released!
Yup, Liftoff will now look even better. We've completely remade our camera system that minimizes the strange camera cutoff glitch and allows us to support more post-processing visual effects. The game now features bloom, ambient occlusion and motion blur. While these visual effects are completely optional (check graphics options) they improve the visual experience. Motion blur in particular increases the perception of speed and depth and makes the flying experience more pleasing and realistic.
Steve, Hervé, Bob, Quadzimoto, Sir Crashalot, Dronie McDroneface… these are some of the names you've given him after the first reveal on Facebook. We finally have a pilot in Liftoff, and you're free to name him what you want! He's not just fancy eye-candy, but also functions as an indication for your FPV signal strength. Have you seen his awesome shirt, by the way? "ME" could conveniently mean the player, but most of all refers to Mentor Empire, an awesome company we've been talking to for a while. Mentor Empire is interested in supporting the Liftoff and FPV racing community as a whole and we are exploring some cool ideas with them to support that project!

Finally, 0.4.1 is ready to be released. Big fixes, pilot, visual effects, new track and more!
CHANGELIST:
- Fixed an issue with PID settings where the I-value erroneously had a negligeable effect.
- Implemented some graphics updates and three visual effects: Bloom, Ambient
- Occlusion and Motion Blur, which are enabled by default. Each can be toggled in the Graphics settings menu in the Main Menu to suit your preferences and system.
- Minimized various camera glitches.
- Prevented drone HUD from clipping with environment and reduced its jittering.
- Implemented a pilot character in all environments. Watch your head!
- Included the Eastside FPV Track and Race: congrats once more to the winner of our first track design contest.
- Added a new gate in the Track Builder.
