ImmersionRC has always been a great supporter of the project and good friend of the team at LuGus Studios. Their contribution to the FPV community is unmistakable and their motivation and approach to supporting project like Liftoff is a great example of what we love about the FPV scene in general. It’s not just about racing, it’s about supporting each other, contributing to a community of people who share the same passion. Update 0.10.9 is dedicated to ImmersionRC’s flagship products: the Vortex drones. Not only do we bring a brand new Vortex model to Liftoff, but we are also giving the old Vortex content in Liftoff some much needed attention.

ANALYTICS
We have done a rework and upgrade of our analytics system. In order to get good feedback on early access games, developers not only depend on direct feedback from individual players. They can also collect global player data to find out how they play the game: what players like, what they don’t like, what features and content they use the most. This information can be used to direct the future developments of the game. While this has no instant effect on the player, in the long run this information benefits everyone, including you! To illustrate what we can do: we can learn what the preferred settings are related to god mode, OSD, flight mode and so on. This knowledge can help us figure out what settings should be on by default. We can also learn what type of environments and tracks players like in general, so we can focus on creating more of these in the future. Knowledge is everything and getting feedback from the player is key to this. Don’t worry though, we are not collecting data on a personal level and can’t see your individual actions in the game. Everything we receive is anonymous, global player data that allows us to make better development decisions.
