Our job is to provide the best possible experience for our community, as such, keeping things in order is not something we would seek appreciation for. Nonetheless I feel it's worth giving a special thanks to Jan. For the past five days, we've been receiving his "end of the workday" reports around 4 am at night (and later), indicating that he has been diligently working for 19 hours straight each day. We apologize for the recent inconvenience caused by our multiplayer downtime, which affected the experience we aim to provide. Secondly, we extend our gratitude to all of you for your patience and encouragement. Your support during these stressful moments is truly invaluable.
Our team has completely reworked the multiplayer framework in just a few days time, in order to get everything up and running as soon as possible. Fingers crossed for a smooth transition!
Changelist
- Fixed: connecting to the Liftoff Pro and multiplayer services!
- Added: the option to save and apply custom rate profiles from the flight controller settings. These are saved game-wide, so you can save the rates for one drone setup and apply them easily unto a different one.
- Fixed: Liftoff would crash if you armed your drone when having the throttle zero-point set all the way to 1.
- Fixed: Joining a room by name wasn't possible if the roomname had the '-' in it (which all Liftoff rooms had by default)
- Fixed: Multiplayer game moderators can't be kicked anymore by the game's host.
- Fixed: Apply the framerate limit from the pause menu didn't apply immediately.
- Fixed: A non-removable popup after changing your Liftoff Pro password in-game.
- Fixed: missing ice lake textures in Surtur.
