Knock, knock survivors! Patch time! As promised, we were able to address the new crashes reported after our last megaupdate, as well as the infinite loading screens. A few other problems were fixed too. If you encounter any issues please report them to us on the forums (preferably in the Bugs thread) or contact us directly at support@robotgentleman.com. And now for something completely different... We also wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about our plans for 60 Seconds!. More frequent updates It took us a while to deliver you the last update of 60 Seconds!. This was not something we intended, but unfortunately a few lines of development we were pursuing (Mac OSX fixes, additional language support, engine overhaul and optimisations) had to be integrated together in the end and we could not release them separately, as planned. Believe us when we say it was us frustrating to us, as it was to you. Since that is the case, we are very happy to give you the good news - this is not going to happen again! We are back to our more frequent update cycle, where we will be addressing any issues reported relatively quickly. And every couple of updates we will be bringing you something bigger. What exactly? See below! Linux/SteamOS support Ever since we announced 60 Seconds! for Steam we wanted to bring it to Linux and SteamOS players to enjoy. And guess what? It is close! In fact, if you already own 60 Seconds! and also use Steam on a Linux machine, you can opt in to a beta branch of 60 Seconds!, which already has a working Linux build. We will be running some more tests to make sure it works well and hopefully publically release it in a little while! Steam workshop support - modding! We've been receiving questions about this for a while and we have actually hinted it on the forums once or twice. But now we can officially answer - are you going to release modding support for 60 Seconds!? Yes. Yes, we are. We are already working on this and when the time comes, we will let you know about the exact features and ETA of 60 Seconds! mods. New DLC! We've said it plenty of times, but to put your mind at ease (in case you have any doubts!) - yes, we are working on another DLC for 60 Seconds!. Yes, it will be free for anyone who owns the game. And yes, it will contain plenty of new content. There is no release date, yet - as soon as we pick it, we will let you know. Native gamepad support & presets We've already mentioned this as our future development goal and following up on some questions we've been receiving from AZERTY keyboard users - we will be bringing keyboard preset customization, as well as native gamepad support to the game. We will also be working with the Steam Controller to make 60 Seconds! compatible with it. As you see, the next few months should be quite exciting for the community. If you have any questions about the future of 60 Seconds! feel free to ask us about it either on the forums or by dropping us an e-mail. Till next time! 10/04/2016 1.160 Post-megaupdate patch - infinite loading screens fixed - scavenge start & end crashes fixed - gift event - removed a bug where you would get no outcome of your decision - reunion events - removed a bug where people could get sick and die instantly after coming back - book fixes - experimental 21:9 support (please let us know if it works well!) - beta Linux/SteamOS build (available on opt-in beta branch)
