It has been reported that Tiamat X is crashing for a lot of players. We have been doing some investigations into this and it would appear that since the latest Steam Client update that the game is been crashing for some people. As we have not issued any updates recently we suspect that this is directly related to the Steam Client update and are currently looking into this to see if there is anything that we can do our side. Please bear with us and apologies for the inconvenience. ***** UPDATE ***** 12-Feb-2016@19:10GMT We have located the issue and whilst it is related to the Steam client update the problem actually exists in the middleware that we used to create Tiamat X. Whilst the middleware developer did release a fix to this issue they failed to notify their clients of this critical Steam game breaking issue, so we only just found out about it this evening. We are currently testing a new build and hope to have it live in the next few hours. Again apologies for any inconvenience caused by this issue. Please note that there may be other Steam games that suffer from this issue since the latest Steam Client update. ***** UPDATE ***** 12-Feb-2016@20:41GMT We have tested the fix (build ID 974122) and it is now live. Once again apologies for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

We would like to thank you for all your feedback thus far and are going to be looking at it and consider implementing some of the suggestions. We have currently changed the drop rate of the cards reducing it considerably. Also we would like to take the opportunity to reiterate (as per the game specifications) that due to the underlying middleware that Tiamat X is only supported to run on Ubuntu Linux. Further details are included in the specifications on the store page. Furthermore whilst we have mentioned that only the keyboard control option is available on Ubuntu (due to issues we encountered during our testing), some people have reported that they have been able to successfully use a wired Xbox 360 controller.
