Friday Dev Update: Cartography and Plans for 2016

Hello everyone! In this blog post we talk about our progress on the upcoming Cartography update, as well as some features that will be coming to Salt in 2016. Cartography is coming along nicely. This update will add in a chart and grid type system where you will be able to mark islands on a coordinate square, and then add icons and information to those islands. We are currently working on visuals and the ability to click and drag the map, as well as zoom in and out. For 2016, our main focus is going to be finishing the cartography update, adding a player journal and the remainder of the main quest line, and then moving on to multiplayer implementation.
