New Statues in Meadow
Following the brilliant turnout for our Meadow birthday party last month we've been listening to your feedback and made some plans for more statues and achievements. That's right, the fun will go on! Only this time the statues will stay for good, which is just as well because they're not easy to spot!
For each month until the release of Shelter 3 next year, we'll be placing ten statues of an animal from Shelter 3 in the Meadow world. That's nine more animals altogether and we're going to reveal them one by teasey one as the months roll by ;) As with the anniversary elephants, you'll unlock achievements for the first, fifth and tenth statues you find.
Next you'll be able to hunt low slung crocs across the game world - check them out on podium number two and keep your eyes peeled! We hope you enjoy seeking them out and showing the way and sharing your findings, and best of all, there is absolutely no rush. We hope you like the crocs! See you in the Meadow! Every Month a Creature
For each month until the release of Shelter 3 next year, we'll be placing ten statues of an animal from Shelter 3 in the Meadow world. - Play as any combination of animals on land, water or air in the largest expanse of land ever created for a Shelter game.
- Communicate with other animals via specially created emotes, symbols and sounds.
- Use senses to discover and track other players in world.
- Visit the den to choose from up to 9 different animals, over 60 skins and over 90 expressions and symbols to unlock.
- The more Shelter titles and products you own, the more bonuses you unlock.
- New original music from Retro Family.
- Owning any Shelter game will unlock the ability to play as that animal in Meadow (e.g. owning Shelter 2 unlocks the lynx etc.)
- Owning all games (no soundtracks or books included) will give you the possibility to play as the adorable bear cub from Paws.
- Gain unique sound abilities if you own any combination of soundtracks.
- Owning our interactive books will unlock unique 3-dimensional emotes.
- For the collector and owner of the entire Shelter catalogue, you unlock the ability to play as a bird.
