On May 31 bird enthusiasts everywhere celebrate World Parrot Day and obviously we're going to as well! So, between from 12:00 CEST today, running for 24 hours, we will let everyone play as the Eagle with its Scarlet Macaw skin.

The scarlet macaw is a gorgeous kind of parrot that you might envision sitting on the shoulder of an archetypal pirate. In the wild, their life span is 40-50 years on average, but theyve been known to live up to a staggering 90 years in captivity! The scarlet macaw is easily identified by its vibrant red body and the strikingly blue wings and is probably what most of us imagine when we hear the word parrot. And that beak is not a joke, as it can snap a broomstick in half, allegedly. Not putting my finger in there, thats for sure. Not to worry though, theres no biting allowed in Meadow.

- Play as any combination of animals on land, water or air in the largest expanse of land ever created for a Shelter game.
- Communicate with other animals via specially created emotes, symbols and sounds.
- Use senses to discover and track other players in world.
- Visit the den to choose from up to 9 different animals, over 60 skins and over 90 expressions and symbols to unlock.
- The more Shelter titles and products you own, the more bonuses you unlock.
- New original music from Retro Family.
- Owning any Shelter game will unlock the ability to play as that animal in Meadow (e.g. owning Shelter 2 unlocks the lynx etc.)
- Owning all games (no soundtracks or books included) will give you the possibility to play as the adorable bear cub from Paws.
- Gain unique sound abilities if you own any combination of soundtracks.
- Owning our interactive books will unlock unique 3-dimensional emotes.
