Were super excited to announce that the very first playable version of Red Embrace: Paradisus can now be accessed via our Patreon!
Our plan** for RE:P is to release monthly Patreon updates for the alpha, until were ready to enter Steam Early Accesshopefully sometime in early 2023. The funds from Patreon will go towards RE:Ps development, and the community will also be able to significantly contribute to the final game through feedback/suggestions/playtesting.

We plan on sprinting through this project and bringing it to Kickstarter/Greenlight. We also have community events to get YOU involved in the development process. Visit our dev blog for more details. Quick (for now..) summary: Rivian, the son of a famous nobleman, attends the huge birthday celebration of the king! Dancing, drinking, and flirting abound. However, what will happen when Rivian gets embroiled in a mystery he wants no part of and has to work with a partner to solve it before the celebrations over?

Hi everyone! We weren't planning on adding achievements or trading cards, but we've received a number of requests for them, so we have decided to make a small set of unlockables for them. If we can hit the goal number of reviews/ratings on itch/Steam combined, then we'll work to add these in! When we say reviews/ratings, we really mean either - or. Example: 30 people rate the game on itch (but don't leave a written review of any sort) + 50 people review the game on Steam = Trading Cards unlocked. 10 people rate the game on itch (and leave a written review) + 140 reviews on Steam = Trading Cards AND Achievements unlocked. Trading Cards: 80 Achievements: 150 ***Do note that unlocking a reward means we will begin working to implement them, not that they will be added to the game and the patch released as soon as the reward is unlocked***

Overview:
It's been a year of hard travel, but finally, the young mage Kymil arrives at his destination.
He's a Cyromancer - a spellcaster who wields the power of ice to smite down his enemies. Kymil learned how to harness his power thanks to his uncle, a well-renowned adventurer who hunted down treasure on every corner of the continent.
But his uncle was murdered in his home by an unknown assailant, and Kymil is driven to uncover the mystery behind his death. The only clue he has is an unfinished entry in his uncle's notes about a mysterious cathedral in the middle of the sprawling Dead Plains...
When he arrives at the cathedral, Kymil has no idea what he's searching for or where to go. But something in him presses him forward, and he's determined to figure out the cathedral's secrets, no matter how dire the cost.

Requiescence is a visual novel - a 2D narrative-based game that presents the user with important choices to alter the story's path. Primarily a story of action and adventure, Requiescence features three prominent romance routes that significantly change the later portions of the game.
The game is also a BL (boy's love) game, which means both the main character and the love interests are male.
If you're familiar with Nitro+CHiRAL games (Togainu no Chi, Lamento, DRAMAtical Murder, Sweet Pool), then you know how amazing a story can become when you mingle an epic adventure with intricate character relationships. Requiescence is heavily inspired by these games and aims for a similar style, while still putting a fresh twist on the BL genre.
