StarBreak Community Contest #1: Design a Fire Forest Monster


Welcome to the first StarBreak community contest!

THE GOAL:


Create your very own enemy character for the Fire Forest mission and see it come to life inside StarBreak!

THE RULES:

  • We are accepting all forms of visual media. You may send us drawings, paintings, videos, sculptures...anything! Feel free to include a brief write up as well, but your entry should be primarily visual in nature.
  • The enemy character should be designed to fit into the Fire Forest mission. Give the mission a few runs and get a feel for the environment and enemies!
  • What’s important is getting your idea across clearly! When judging entries, priority will be placed on the concept of your enemy character, not necessarily the quality of artwork.
  • Nothing too vulgar; try to keep content in line with what you’ve seen in StarBreak so far.

    1st Place: Your enemy concept will be refined and placed into StarBreak’s Fire Forest stage and you will receive 150 UC

    • Improve network efficiency
    • Make 0 and O more discernible
    • Add movement speed implants
    • Add knockback resist implants
    • Recommendation arrow is now on the player (hopefully this will better guide new players to level appropriate zones)
    • Recommendation arrow can be turned off in settings

    • Macrons now give a better indication of when they will self-destruct
    • Macrons now have 3 sec lifetime with a mod of +1 second
    • Add Blink (Exotic Macron)

      • Reduce armor of troop transports in normal mode slightly and increase armor in elite mode slightly
      • Troop transports are now properly phased
    Underground Base
    • Fix issue that could cause no Midbosses to spawn in elite variants
    • No HP drops after wave 50 in wave room

    • Boss
      • Scavengers have a much larger aggro radius in the boss room than in other parts of the Graveyard
