THANK YOU everyone who supported us during the Greenlight phase! New Hell Studios is proud to present Mausoleum of the Medusa. In the spirit of the season, we want you to turn out all the lights and immerse yourself in a truly frightening dungeon full of unspeakable things... This is our very first game, and we've been working hard for 2 years. Our objective was to make a free, simple, enjoyable game that would be competitively viable and aesthetically on point. Mausoleum of the Medusa is a love song to brutal, old-school arena combat. Perseus and Medusa are trapped in a deathmatch--but the gods raise them from the dead! Put on a good show to break the cycle and be rewarded!
Medusa is a passion project by two guys in love with Dark Souls, the original Legend of Zelda, pixel art, and Clash of the Titans!
Old-School Depth meets Modern Design
- Slay Medusa with faster light strikes or slower power attacks! The clock is ticking!
- Charge your sword to illuminate the dark--but at the cost of mobility!
- Respawn via a seamless in-game mechanic--never break your pace!
- Discover your playstyle and learn how to defeat Medusa in First Blood mode
- Do you prefer 'low-life' sprints or 'high-life' marathons? Specify Medusa's HP in Arcade mode and compete for a variety of top scores!
