'Hot game' means 'hot server'
Mere minutes after release, thousands upon thousands of players came to play Angeldust. Our server got hot. Hotter. The hottest. Lead Angeldust developer Firefly had to cut his live stream short to fix the melting server:

The old server couldn't keep up because of network restrictions outside of our control. Firefly tried valiantly to work around the issue, but couldn't solve it live. That's when push came to shove.

Under two hours later, a new server had been mounted in a server rack and became operational. At midnight local time, Angeldust was performing stronger, better and faster than ever. Firefly did an emergency live stream and Angeldust kept up under the madness:

A side effect of Angeldust's limitless building possibilities is that some players try to create offending works. We are doing the best we can to limit exposure to these lighthearted, artistic attempts.
