A minor update with a few fixes: Features
- Improved support for gamepads.
- Fixed angle of some of the monsters when they are falling before they turn into food.
- Restored the falling stars on the end sequence because they had mysteriously disappeared (some incompetent wizarding magic was no doubt to blame).
It's update time! We've fixed a few things and put in a few new features, many of which bring the game closer to the original Xbox 360 release many years ago. Features
- The in-game status bar now shows which special items are active (e.g. rapid fire) and in the case of timed items, for how long.
- Added encouragement text after completing a level ("Extraordinary", "Top Drawer", etc).
- Special items now award points!
- The number of credits has been increased from 10 to 15.
- Added the meaning of life, the universe and everything (see if you can find it!).
- Fixed a bug where the characters could jump twice as high if the jump button was pressed for a second time when they were in the air near a platform.
- Special items are regenerated when going back a level or restarting the current level.
- Fixed bug with number of points displayed when an item is collected fading out too quickly.
We've released a small update to the game with some minor fixes and an overhaul of the user interface so text, menus, buttons and so on look better. We've also added a high scores leaderboard which displays the highest score you've managed in a single credit. We've added our score already - who can be the first one to beat it?!
We're happy to announce that Steam Trading Cards are now available for The Wizards Who Fell In A Hole, so get swapping! We've also updated the game to version 2.1.0, which contains the following changes:
Improvements
- Character colours can now be modified. A new option on the main menu allows the wizards' robes, hat and star colours to be set to whatever you like!
- Redone the redefine keys screen to make it easier to use, and added a credits screen.
Fixes
- Added improved mouse support for intro/game over/end sequences.
- Fixed issue with some particles never disappearing when the game is paused.

Version 2.0.1 - improved menu navigation slightly so the "back" button always goes back to the previous menu. Also if you are the one person who experienced a crash when plugging a new joystick/gamepad in, rest assured this has also now been resolved!

The Wizards Who Fell In A Hole
When two of the most magically gifted wizards on this (or any other) planet set out on a quiet stroll one evening, neither of them are aware of the terrifying adventure that awaits them.
They only have themselves to blame for bringing it on, however, as they fail to see a giant hole in the ground and take an absent-minded wander straight into it, leading them to a cave of unspeakably horrible monsters. Their only way out is to navigate through 100 deviously dangerous levels...
...which is where you come in! The Wizards Who Fell In A Hole is a one- or two-player platform game in which each player controls a wizard who can jump and shoot at a variety of monsters, with the aim being to kill all monsters on a level before progressing.
There are special items to give you various power-ups and help you along the way, and lots of tasty food to be eaten to rack up the high scores and extra lives.
