Delicious new update for the game is now live. Fixes a few issues, balances a few sections, runs faster.
Escape from Pleasure Planet v1.1 ("Princess")
- load game: games load faster, display animated messages to player
- load game screen: scroll buttons work
- new games: start much faster
- new games: display animated loading messaging
- title screen: title music no longer restarts after selecting "new game"
- travel: Enter in a VIP planet destination number crashes/closes. FIXED but on windows some landscaping and plants might be missing depending on planet.
- fullscreen: rewrote window creation code to better handle different resolutions and fullscreen mode.
- fullscreen: game now requires a restart if toggling fullscreen mode
- fullscreen: --fullscreen toggles instead of forces fullscreen
- engine: actor image paths are stored unix style
- engine: fix to load game when resident scenes don't exist
- engine: menu objects obey same event rules as scene objects to reduce queuing events from menu items
- mod: game engine will try and pick up replacement files from the mod/ directory.
- terminal: possible fix to coord problem where destination does not appear
- lab2: fix to lab2 if qnb is the convo trigger
- lab2: fix butterfly message if character is not available
- transmat: fix to transmat when player has changed coords in terminal but not travelled
- transmat: fix bug that stopped player walking to queue scene.
- transmat: Better message when using coin on out-of-order sign.
- statues: After being introduced to all founders, update the names on the statues
- arcadian: When using a new card, Tycho now mentions he's removing the previous card
- arcadian: Extra clue when caught twice on the 3rd cherry
- float: removed ability to stack clicks on jetpack
- eden: Remove ability to use Bug on landed butterfly.
- eden: Mention butterfly not interested in red flower when clicking on flowers
- eden: More references to blue dye and blue flowers
- eden: Fixed: Tycho can reenter beach after Brutus has left
- eden: sorbet now melts to give an extra clue and can't be collected until breakup
- eden: fix to blue lagoon drift motion
- eden: fix to butterfly bluebell motion

Escape from Pleasure Planet is a gay-themed science-fiction adventure game with bright colourful graphics, a fun story and character art by Joe Phillips.Play as Captain Tycho Minogue as he chases a dangerous (and dangerously handsome) criminal to Arcadia, a tourist resort famous throughout the galaxy as Pleasure Planet.
But has Brutus gone to the resort solely to hide or is he planning something more sinister? Are the tourists truly happy having their every wish fulfilled or is there a dark underside to this paradise? And what has happened to the original builders of Pleasure Planet? Action, adventure, romance ... Escape from Pleasure Planet is classic sci-fi but with handsome gay men. The perfect gift.
This game is a follow-up to My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant (also available on Steam). However you don't need to have played Space Tyrant to enjoy Pleasure Planet!
