Marinatide 1.0 Is Out

Marinatide 1.0 is now officially launched! It’s been about ten months since we entered Steam Early Access, inviting you to participate in the development process of Marinatide. Thank you for playing and for sharing your comments with us! The game has made some great progress over this time, hopefully you like it. The new Marinatide trailer: https://youtu.be/a7pXj-9yneA As we have announced in our previous post earlier this week, the new version is coming with a massive update. We would love to hear what you have to say about it, so please share your thoughts on the forum. Below is the full changelog of this update.

- Main story finished
- Island Quests (3)
- Improved Side quest mechanics
- More side quests
- More seasons
- Winter
- New Islands
- Different species of fish in areas on winter and summer
- Floating Garbage
- Garbage collection boats
- Environmental garbage visual
- Fish area info accessible through world map
- Season can be restarted from main menu
- Fish Traps visible through map
- Quest Log
Minor Updates
- More Hotkeys for keyboard
- Small UI improvements
- Map can be scrolled
Balancing
- New fishing equipment becomes available as game progresses
- Easier progression goals
- Species more territorial
- Smaller pools of fish species when generating fish areas
- Shops should sell you items that help you get the fish in the area
- Small adjustments to fish prices
- Higher level gear price increased
- Higher level rods get better fish
- Resting in boat recovers slightly more

Marinatide is a sea fishing and exploration game, combining elements of strategy and adventure.
You play as Marina — a rookie sea captain and a fishing over-enthusiast, roaming the waters with her partner, Vino, in search of the next big catch. But fishing life is not all breezy: there is a license to get and deadlines to meet. You have to fish against time and earn your keep or it’s all over! Though, there’s always another day...

Exploration - Go island hopping and find all the hidden fish areas
