Demonheart: The Cursed Trial - Chapter 7 Progress
A certain player choice will branch the story, the characters will say some different things as a consequence of previous choices, and there will be multiple endings. Because of this, the last chapter has a much higher word count, so there is more content to polish than in the previous chapters. We have yet to see how it will affect the actual play time. I am currently editing the script, adding smaller player choices. The major ones are already implemented. While I shared some early screenshots before, my priority right now is to polish up the script before setting up all the visuals. The aim is to add Chapter 7 to the game in the second half of March. It will remain in early access for a little while after that, to make sure there aren't any oversights. Also, after the last chapter is published, I will start looking for voice actors and directing them to implement partial voice acting. I hope to be back soon with the last chapter! Bright is a young woman from a small, peaceful town. Dark times have come for her family, but luckily, she has the favor of the famous healer-witch Orchid. Benevolent, calm and beloved by all, Orchid hides dark secrets that Bright begins to uncover.
Bright is drawn into a world of darkness and treachery. It seems she can never be alone again - for a powerful demonic presence has taken an interest in her activities, and his voice enters her mind at the most inappropriate times.
There are also others who play a significant role in Bright's new life... Ari, a young apprentice witch seduced by bad influences. She tries to be friendly, even though she knows Bright is meant to be her enemy... or is she? And Sir Brash, a notorious evil knight who develops a soft spot for Bright, but has a rather special way of showing affection.
