It's been far more than a year since Warbands:Bushido launched to Steam Early Access, so it's time to make a few tough decisions and fix some mistakes we've made.
As you can see, current progress on Steam version is a bit stale. It's not only because we had to change focus to Android, which took us an incredible amount of work, but also because of some technical issues with updating all 3 versions at once. And it looks like we've finally solved the problem.
So the new full-cross platform server is coming, with at least a few hundred players online on all 3 current platforms. Plus there will be 2 versions of Steam client: payed and free2play. Since the game will have unified client, players who have payed for their versions will get a special subscriptions with daily coin and dust rewards.
Plus players will be able to share progress with devices on other platforms, without requesting a transfer on forums. Now there is an interface for it.
To test the new updates system Monks will be added to your boosters, which you will be able to buy with an in-game coins via in-app purchases both.
Update will be available in a couple of weeks, so feel free to write us what you think about all that in a comments bellow.

"Cutthroats" scenario rules
"Cutthroats" scenario is a queve of 14 missions with a new unit as a reward for each difficulty (Rare unit for Normal , Epic for Hard and Legendary for Insane difficulty). Player starts scenario with Blue (Scenario) Warband and won't be able to change it util all missions were completed or scenario restarted. Lost units won't take part in next missions, and can be revived for Silver Coins only on trade posts in the end of a few key missions. Missions can be replayed on Normal and Hard difficulty, while Insane mode should be completed without any replays.

Arena added. A place to test your best legendary warriors against other players in tense 4x4 battles. You'll need to build up your Arena warband, which can be found in warbands selection. The more battles you will stand, the higher your rewards will be.

Warbands: Bushido is about to celebrate 2 months in Steam EA. So we prepared a few features for our next few updates, our first players have been waiting for a long time.
MacOS version is finally available.
Additions:
- Added new "Tavern" skirmish map.
- Updated units upgrade XP requirements (significantly lowered).
- Updated "Bandit camp" and "Dojo" skirmish maps to prevent "camps".
- Added "Benten's Favor" Order (dice rolled twice for better results).
- Added a bunch of Order Cards illustrations.
- Updated "End Turn" rules. If one player is inactive, his turns duration is reduced.

Game has a isometric, tabletop-style look with miniature-style characters, cards, dice, pre-rendered battlefields and story-mode locations. There will be more than 100 various paintable units and heroes planned for full-scale release and later additions. Story driven single-player will be highly influenced by Final Fantasy Tactics and Valkyria Chronicles, with several different campaigns with their own characters and events. While multiplayer skirmish will let you test your skills in best traditions of tabletop wargame classics like Warmachine or Mordheim with a fast-paced Hearthstone-like gameplay.
Stories we are going to tell you in future scenarios will take us to different corners of Sengoku period Japan. All castles, villages and interiors will look as authentic as possible, we’re working really hard to achieve this. In first grand campaign, as a swordmaster samurai we will make our way home through eastern provinces, turned to chaos during years of war. In other scenario we’ll help portuguese merchant resolve a conflict between two powerful samurais. We will also tell a story of a ninja, who has to hide from wrath of his own clan. And we have quite a bunch of even more fascinating stories.
Collection of units and cards from various packs, same as acquired from winning tournaments and events (or in our case for supporting this kickstarter campaign) will make your warbands unique in tactics and appearance. While your experience and your band grows from few simplest soldiers to complex mechanism where various warriors, their abilities and orders cards fully complete each other.
