Early Access V0.3.1.0 - Patch Notes
IMPORTANT NOTE - When I put Solaroids into early access in 2017, I didn't understand the typical conventions used for early access games. As such I used a EA 1.x.x.x format with the idea that the EA prefix clearly indicates that this is EA V1, not just V1. This has caused some confusion over the years, and I've decided to switch to a 0.x.x.x pattern until Solaroids leaves Early Access. I will be updating previous steam notes where I can to adjust for this. Don't be alarmed, 0.3.1.0 is the same as 1.3.1.0 steamhappy Minor feature updates and/or bug fixes.

Version number scheme changing!

New Features / Tweaks
- Updated the background starfield to a higher resolution version that is much sharper (especially at 4k).
- Vectorized splash screen.
- Removed the VECTOR MODE IS EXPERIMENTAL / INCOMPLETE disclaimer that would show at the bottom of the screen when vector mode was active.
- Record and show the Difficulty Mode used for a high score in the leaderboards. Right now these show up as a E next to the control style abbreviation next to the score for Easy since Hard and Insane are not complete yet and Normal doesn't need an indicator.
- Change internals related to the executable name and saved game locations to use the more generic Solaroids vs SolaroidsPrologue naming scheme. Your game options should be migrated automatically, however, in the unlikely event that they don't, check the diagnostics log and move them manually.
- Adjust "nuke" power-up token.
- Prepare for another round of localization effort.
- Updates to FNA used on Linux/OSX versions.
Issues Addressed
- Fix an issue with the default resolution.
