I've uploaded a new beta with some bug fixes, you can try it out if you're curious and stuff.

-In Solo Play, looking around also zooms out the camera.
If you do not want to use this feature, you can turn it off by

I've just added an Xmas balls themed level to the game;
To play it, setup your Custom Game like this:
Stage : 26 - Hyperborean
Props: 26 - Empty
Area: 26 - Crystal
Monsters: 26 - Blast
There's no floor on the level, so playing it is a great way to exercise your fingers.ːsteamhappyː

This update contains various graphical enhancements and fixes.
The only gameplay related change is that now you'll only receive ectoplasm after a kill, if you're locked to your target; this change is part of the new TARGET-LOCK related additions , to make sure new players notice the LOCK's importance early on.

Actually there were more smaller updates, since the previous one,
with lots of small (mostly graphics related) changes/tweaks.
Also fixed a bug where the sword fails to break an item box.
I started working on the game's (IMHO)biggest issue:
when you start the game for the first time, it isn't trivial that gameplay-wise it is critical to use the target-lock; so there will be more messages in-game about the importance of the target-lock, and also there will be some kind of scoring (this feature is in the prototyping phase currently) which will reward the successful use of the target-lock.
Hopefully, it will be ready soon.
