Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope is out now!

Eleven months after entering the Early Access phase, SSVR: The Last Hope is now available as a full release, and it's even better, badder and more epic than we ever imagined! Thanks to the huge support of the gaming community our VR baby duckling grew to be a beautiful, giant, armed-to-the teeth swan with flaming eyes, and we can't wait for everyone to jump in the final version. We also couldn't have done it with your support and feedback – thank you for being the best community and fans any developer could wish for! With today's epic final update The Last Hope introduces randomly generated gameplay, available on five existing and three new levels. This new gameplay option is split to three different modes – Arena, Endless Wave and Daily Challenge.

Arena – Allows players to enjoy endless variety thanks to randomly generated waves of enemies that ensure every playthrough is completely different. Players are challenged with 8 arenas consisting of 4 waves, each playable on 20 difficulties. Beating an arena difficulty awards a weapon upgrade icon.
Endless Wave – In this mode players will face an endless wave of enemies, trying to stay alive as long as possible, and get bragging rights over their peers via global leaderboards.
Daily Challenge – Endless wave on the arena map of the day, where each day a new set of enemies is served so that everyone faces exactly the same challenge and competes against the rest of the world.

Thanks to the co-op update Sam got a chance to call for help and play through any level with a partner, and with the update 1.0 players will be able to play with either Serious Sam or Serious Sammy. Here's the full changelog. Read it carefully. Or fire up the game and start having fun. Up to you really. ● Added leaderboards for all 3 arena modes. Who can survive Arena the longest? ● Tired of waiting for someone to join your co-op game? Good news! You can now play alone while you wait for someone to join. When your partner joins current wave will restart and you'll be able to play together as normal. Note that for now, even though special co-op difficulty setting is disabled while you're practicing alone, playing alone will default to hard on all difficulty settings other than tourist, which will default to Normal. ● Server search for co-op should now be more efficient at finding available servers. ● Hub now features tooltips that explain what's what. ● Implemented requested interface upgrades. ● Changed parts of logic of the random generation algorithm. ● Added arena score when 4th wave is completed. ● Healing in tourist mode now works correctly. ● Random gameplay now also randomizes music. ● Power-up sliders are better stacked now and can't overlap any more. ● Server list now shows rotating planets. ● Added credits.

Tons of enemies – Hordes of attacking enemies have always been a trademark of the Serious Sam series, and Serious Sam: The Last Hope continues to deliver countless terrors in just one scene, harnessing the serious power of the Serious Engine 4.5.
Tons of guns – Dual-wield miniguns, tommy guns, heavy lasers, shotguns, and an assortment of other guns. Oh, and chainsaws, too! More then 10 different weapons, including the rocket launcher, will be available from the beginning of Early Access, and Sam's lethal armory will be regularly expanded in future updates.
Planet-hopping action – Battle across treacherous Egyptian sands, in the pitch-dark under ancient ruins, and on the surface of Pladeon, the long-abandoned heart of a great industrial civilization. Early Access starts with two planets, each with four different locations, while more of Sam's adventures across the galaxy will become available in future updates.
Dick's back, too! - Featuring the voice of Serious Sam, John. J. Dick, dropping one-liners as you drop enemies.
Cry for Mummy – Defeat Mental's most powerful servants, starting with the Unholy Space Mummy of Gamma Pegasi, a huge, terrifying, undead monstrosity brought to life with dark magic - as dangerous as it is smelly! And that's just the first boss.
Hyper-immersive realism – Graphics so good that if you die in the simulation, you die in the real world!*
