Year Update: Some medical tomfoolery.Bryy here (I mean, it's always safe to assume that I'm the one writing these things because, 90% of the time, I am). Update on the rest of the year.
Earlier this morning, I ran into some medical issues - some old war wounds that decided they would like to wish me a late happy birthday. Nothing major, and even the definition of the surgery I need is minor. Which is a let-down, as I totally would have been cool with looking up the classification and finding that it just passes for MAJOR SURGERY.
However, having had this surgery at least once in my lifetime, I can tell you that the recovery process is rather long and hard on the body.
But on to the meat.
What does this mean for the rest of the year?
- CHARITY DLC #3: DESERT BUS: Moved from this week to most likely next week due to doctor visits.
- SPOOPY! SALE: Expect it to be moved to late this month and downsized to Army 3 only. There will still be an Army 1 sale in mid-October.
- HALLOWEEN QUEST AND OUTFIT PACK: Still on track for October 13th.
- NEW GAME+ BENEFITS 2 EXPANSION PACK: Depends on recovery. If the surgery is in November, expect NG+B2 in January. If December, expect February.
- The Ghost of Joe Papp: Same as NG+B2. Depends on recovery. If the surgery is in November, expect Joe Papp in January. If December, expect February.
[ 2017-09-13 22:23:30 CET ] [ Original post ] The Old Gods are cold. Calculating. Ever waiting. Ever patient. Slumbering towards that day in which the cosmic apocalypse beckons.
And then somebody just has to pull a Leroy Jenkins and start the fun early.
Perry Hollycraft has been called out of "retirement" (i.e. the death plane known as the Dreamlands) in order to figure out what Old God did what, when, and why. The rest of the pantheon isn't too happy that the apocalypse has been called early. With Gods fighting among themselves in a bid to take advantage of the situation, and the rules thrown out the window, Perry has more than their work cut out for them. Who do you trust (your party members, probably)? Where do you turn (the available hub areas)? How many endings in this game actually differ from one another (we cut it down from twelve to five, but mileage may vary)? Do your choices matter (it depends on how you define "matter" in the context of a video game)? When will this structure of questions end (now)?
Will you save humanity in order to destroy it, or will you just plain save humanity?
