Last year we released action RPG AereA. The game struggled with balancing issues and bugs that weve been wanting to fix ever since. Now, the time is finally here! Weve prepared a major update for the game that can potentially fix a lot of the issues. However, we need your help to test this patch before we can launch it.

Today, an update was released for AereA which adds Tobii eyetracking support to the game.

Features include a dynamic UI which fades out when it's not looked at and a responsive camera that'll smoothly move to wherever you're looking, which increases immersion in the world of AereA!

We've received your feedback and we’ve implemented a couple of changes especially regarding the balancing of the game. The new patch is online now! You can find the list of changes made below:

Cooperation with Broforce composer
AereA is a music themed Action RPG in which the player explores Aezir, a floating island that was broken into pieces. To really tap into the music theme of the game, SOEDESCO cooperates with Broforce composer Deon van Heerden for the soundtrack. To add more music to the release, the boxed version of AereA includes the game’s original soundtrack as a special edition.

Four playable characters
To celebrate the cooperation there’s an all-new trailer introducing AereA’s four heroes. Players get to play as Wolff the Harp-Archer, Jacques the Cello-Knight, Jules the Lute-Mage and Claude the Trumpet-Gunner. As disciples of Great Maestro Guido’s it’s their mission to find and return the nine primordial instruments to restore balance and peace in the world. Van Heerden composed a special soundtrack for this trailer.
