After a very long time, a new update for Cubicolor has been released. The game has been reimplemented from the ground up. Along with that comes the new controller support, which has been requested by many players since the game was released. Being redone from scratch, it is possible that some bugs may arise which have not been there in the previous version. These will be fixed in no time. Notice, too, that this release is planned to be the start of a series of upcoming updates, which will improve the game's quality of life and fix some long-standing issues. Unfortunately, this means that you will loose you current save files. There is no way around this, but the upside is that the game now finally stores your progress safely on your computer, so that it cannot get lost anymore if you reinstall the game. If you really do not want to start the game all over again, you are free to say so in the community forums and I will provide save files to match your progress. Right now, only the Windows version is released. There are some minor issues with the Mac and Linux variants which will delay their release for a short amount of time. Have fun playing the game!

An update for Cubicolor has been released. Two changes have been made:
- Fixed music volume setting being overriden on every startup.
- Added dark background option. This can be enabled in the settings menu and will only be applied to the ingame background, not the menu background.
