The 0.6.005 patch addresses the Quote save system. Weve re-written a big chunk of it and improved the auto-save and UI. Weve also fixed a number of bugs details can be found on the public Issues tracker.
Linux is also now supported. This might be a bit more jittery than the Windows / OSX versions. Please leave any issues in the forums.
Were currently focusing on Chapter 3 and 4. A big chunk of the art and gameplay logic has been completed. We still have a number of combat interiors to work on as well as backlog of quests, items and narrative. Lots to do still!
We greatly appreciate all your patience. Were only a two-man team so progress will never be as fast as the larger studios. Also, to keep the lights on, we juggle contract work with Quote. So sometimes our attention is temporarily on other projects. However, dont worry, Quote hasnt been forgotten.

Hello everyone. Weve just patched Quotes combat system to feel a bit more precise and a little more dangerous.
The main fix has been to stop hitboxes applying damage to NPCs out of range and/or behind the player. Weve also been playing around with the NPC attack values to make things a little tricker.
As you can see above, we're also working on updating the aggressive NPCs so they stand out a bit more. These changes should be in the next major update.
Please let us know if you think were on the right track or if youd like it to be more challenging !

Hello everyone!
What an exciting few days ! Thank you everyone who bought the game, weve been blown away. A GIANT thank you if you left feedback and reviews. We need to hear all your thoughts and feedback if we're going to make Quote as awesome as it can be!
Moving forward, our immediate focus is going to be on :
- Fixing up the save system. Making it easier to understand. There was a day one bug confusing "star of level" saves and "auto" saves. Until the next patch there's just Quick Save. I know this is a little frustrating (and old school) but it shouldn't be for long.
- Combat: There are a few issues with hitbox detection that make attacking large groups far too easy. There's also some confusion about the current system of building up power with light attacks to spend on damage with heavy attacks. This needs to be more clearly explained.
- UI: Many people found our weird and wonderful UI confusing. We're going to have a long think about how make this more understandable.
-Performance : I'm going to look into GPU optimisations to make things a little easier on your computers :)
