Although our small team is currently working on developing a new game, our commitment with our previous games is still here and so we bring you a new tiny patch to offer some minor improvements to A Gummy's Life.
It might not look like much, but pay attention to the following list of

Fixes and Improvements:

• Improved network code to reduce latency, memory management and synchronization time
• Your gummy character will turn towards the target when there's no input, so hitting your opponents effectively will be much easier. You asked for it, here you have it!
• Improved screen settings behavior with more than one screen
• Fixed an overpowered climbable wall in Arigatothewater map
• A new profile will be created automatically when you open the game the first time with your Steam user (you can still change it afterwards, but we make sure you start collecting stats from the beginning!)

It's been a while since we brought you the Altar update, and, while we haven't stopped bringing you awesome events and celebrations, we've also been working very hard to be able to bring you a brand new patch with some special spooky features, just in time to celebrate the creepiest time of the year! Hope you like them!

Some issues we fixed!

• Randomized gummies used to lose their cosmetics before the game, now they will stay glued on unless your gummy gets hit too hard.
• Gummies' feet used to bug on BeeCareful tiles, stopping the floor from falling, but all gummies are now doomed to fall.
• Scores for King of the Hill mode when playing online with 3 or more players showed the wrong number, for this patch we've learned to count.
• After dying online in Grousky, controllers would keep vibrating even after the player's death, we've gone a more eco-friendly route and we've decided to make it stop, to save energy.

New additions to the game!

• Bored of dying the first in every match and just watching? Don't worry! Enable the new option "Afterlife" in your match customization (local or private) and improve your abilities while your friends keep fighting for victory! After you die in a match, your gummy will still appear as a playable character in the map in the form of a ghost! Spook everyone with your abilities!
• On another note, for those looking for a bigger challenge, how about using a ball or a barrel to get a point? Join a match in King of The Hill mode and throw one of the items into a marshmallow for a point, now with style!
• Also, gummies' juices splattered onto cars will start falling slowly, instead of disappearing, little by little, for some dramatic added effects!
• And, finally, a fun surprise: when an AI wins a match, if any cosmetics are left around the battlefield, it will try to pick them up and equip them!

Saturday, 24th September is a day to celebrate in A Gummy's Life!

Even though the game was out earlier on Steam and Nintendo Switch, last year we launched A Gummy's Life on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, enabling cross-play between all of them! It's been a year since then and we've been sharing many memories and updates together!
In one year, we've released 4 updates, including: adding cosmetics to the game, 4 new maps, 2 new gummies, AIs learning to drive, full rework of the grabbing system, improvements in the UI to show more info about the game modes, customization of Private Online matches, pinging system to find yourself on the screen, and a whole new seasonal wardrobe change! To commemorate such a milestone, we introduce you to: a weekend-long event! From Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th, join online matches in A Gummy's Life to celebrate with us and get those cosmetics you've been missing for so long! Say hi to all of the limited-time and holiday cosmetics we've brought so far, cause they are back! When we originally released these items, we did so for no longer than a week, to enjoy holidays and festivities in a different way. Now, weve decided to bring them back once more so you all have the opportunity to get them!
Plus, a party would not be a party if not for some pixel sunglasses and party hats! Since we knew they were pretty loved and give off party vibes like no other in-game item, we thought that they were the perfect fit for this kind of celebration, so, for a few days, theyll be available again to unlock. Did you wish for online matches to be customizable?

Now you can do so in Private Online Matches!

Patch notes:

• Private online matches can now be set up like local matches:
  • 3 game modes available - Free for all, Hot Potato and King of the Hill;
  • all maps to choose from;
  • matches up to 10 random maps
• Added Korean language
• Now, when you leave a local match after the first round, a game played will be added to your statistics and also a game won to the winner's profile
• Now the game will get muted when it's not focused
• If a gummy gets stuck between the numbers in Clockwork when the floor goes down, it will explode after some seconds.

Customizable online matches were a common community request and we could finally make it real!

As we continue working on the next big update, here you are some more details of what's coming!!

It was inevitable, our AIs were quite jealous because we could drive our tractor (and our upcoming bumping cars!), so they asked for some driving lessons, and that's what we'll give them.

Today we bring you a new patch with important fixes to improve your online experience!

Fixes:

• AIs used to take control over the player's gummy in rare cases of a bit of lag detected; we have a system to ensure other players can still play if one loses connection, but hey, a bit of lag should not make you lose your character!
• Gummies would get stuck in the online hub if they got out & in of a game very quickly; we explained to them how agile humans are and they'll handle it better from now on.
• Fixed an issue with the internal clock synchronization in online mode that caused, on some ocassions, that other players were not seen moving.
• Sudden death after a draw at the end of an online game was not working, but there can only be one champion!
• Remaping the keyboard controls was not working properly.

Hello! Time for some fixes and minor improvements in A Gummy's Life!

Improvements:

• You can now raise your arms up in the character selection screen even if you didn't lock your gummy, to make it easier to recognize your spot in the screen.

Fixes:

• You can unlock the Egg again, an evil bug made it impossible, sorry!
• Fixed the height being wrongly displayed on some texts.
• Fixed some rare cases with the pause menu.

Hello! Time for some improvements in A Gummy's Life!

Improvements:

• The Gummy Ring now has a purple color.
• The names of players will now show correctly with the game font in all languages.
• Improved the online synchronization of multiple jumps and falls (on Dakongo's liana for example).
• Improved the online synchronization of the movement in Tagada.
• Improved performance in Tagada.
• Better movement feeling with high FPS in Tagada.

Fixes:

• Sometimes KO'd gummies would not replicate the correct position in online mode.
• Some gummies had their arm vibrating when using the Bowing Taunt.
• In rare cases a player disappeared in the online mode until the next level.
• The player boxes on Robox were not synchronizing as they were supposed to.

Hello! Today we bring you some new balance and improvements to A Gummy's Life!

Improvements:

• You can now jump on top of A Frog's Life cars.
• Revamp of how the collisions on moving platforms work. They should work perfectly now.
• Training mode now starts immediately instead of a 3... 2... 1... counting down
• Improved synchronization of the online player movements with high ping players
• Improved synchronization of the online player jumps with high ping players
• AI now jumps down of Dakongo superior platforms after being thrown by the cannon
• AI on hard mode now knows how to follow you if you climb walls
• AI on hard mode does not try to grab a gummy a second time to prevent some cases of saving it
• New stat: Zombies killed
• You can now configure Motion Blur (Automatic/Disabled)
• If someone opens the menu or controls UI in character selection, the countdown will stop
• Track'n Splash train door has now a better behavior

Fixes:

• AI in Clockwork, hot potato mode, now has priority on passing the potato rather than getting on top of a number
• Gummies could freeze and stand still if get up and fall recovery happen at the same time
• Zombarn tractor can no longer get stuck without moving
• Gummies' outline in team mode is now in sync with the characters

Hello! today we bring you some new balance and improvements to A Gummy's Life!

Patch Notes:

• New button to join Discord at the main menu.
• Deaths after a winner is announced will no longer be counted towards the profile stats.
• Improved online synchronization after a gummy wakes up from a KO.
• Now you can see open matchmaking games in the online game list.
• Limited to 25% the maximum damage of hits.
• New option of Use XInput: Automatic (plus Enabled and Disabled). In Automatic mode, if the game detects there are more than 4 XInput controllers, XInput will disable itself so the controllers can work. Remember XInput is limited by design to 4 controllers and it's not a game limitation.
• Fix: Some text fonts not changing when switching languages.
• Fix: The AI was not releasing its arm from a wall when it was grabbing a player.
• Fix: Sometimes you could not start a new online game after finishing one.

Hello! today we are updating with some balance and improvements!

Balance

• Improved the defense of the Gummy Egg.
• When two or more players tie at the end of a game, the last map is played again with sudden death.
• When two or more players tie and should receive a point, every tied player get the point and not only the one that died the last.
• Now in Ball or Juice when the timer reaches 0 the gummies won't die. Instead, points will be rewarded but the gummies can keep moving and scoring (Score won't change).
• Scoring a Goal in Ball or Juice now heals and gives strenght to the scorer.
• Zombarn tractor now changes directions (forward-backwards) when colliding with a wall.

Improvements and fixes

• Added a Clear button in the options menu that restore or clear to default all the settings/profiles.
• Improved performance and memory management.
• Now the AI is organized differently depending on the teams selected by the humans on Team Mode (equal size team, outnumber humans, humans outnumber).
• Online Matches list now automatically refreshes when a new match is created.
• Improved online synchronization of the tackle and plank features.
• Improved online synchronization of the Ball or Juice ball.
• Improved online synchronization of the gummy collisions.
• Fixed the Get up animation sometimes not displaying correctly in the remote players.
• Fixed the Robot Wars ground sometimes appearing twice in the online game-mode.
• Fixed some synchronization errors in the conveyer belts of Robox.
• Fixed the AI stopping if it KO'ed the player in BeeCareful.

Hello! It's time, A Gummy's Life comes out of Early Access today.

It has come to a point where we are pretty happy with the feeling, gameplay, content and bug-free state of the game. As a result of that, we are finally releasing A Gummy's Life. We want you to spread the word, help us grow, play with your friends in online matches, unlock all the gummies, bring your colleagues over and don't stop laughing among other things!

• Out of Early Access!
• Overhaul of the movement system to the feeling of the game, faster turn rate, better air control, improved jump
• Added more feedback when a gummy is being hit
• Major improvements on the Online network code, smoother and precise
• You can now invite your friends from any region to a private match via Steam
• Improved the human-like behaviour of the AI
• Major performance improvements on low quality settings
• New option in the map selection settings to play each selected map once
• New Online ping meter
• The major feature of clapping with your hands up is now back in the game!
• Improved the behaviour of swapping your monitor resolution and how it affects the game
• Minor fixes in some levels

A Gummy's Life has also been released last week on the Nintendo Switch® system

• Added Tagada and Grousky to the online multiplayer map pool.
• Improved network code in knock-out's and jumps.

• New option to up/downscale the render quality, from 50% to 150%.

Hello! the time has come. Online multiplayer has arrived to A Gummy's Life.

Fellow A Gummy's Life players, we are proud to announce that Online multiplayer is here. Many of you were asking since the early access release that we should add online multiplayer to A Gummy's Life, we wanted to do it as well but since it's a physics-based game, making it work with no problems it's hard. But it's here, it works, IT'S FUN, trust us. Currently there's only Deathmatch mode and 8 levels. We will be adding more levels in the following weeks. To play it you just have to press the big Online button in the main menu. We have replaced the training button, which is now available in the top right corner of the main menu.

• Added TheRolling to the online mode.
• Several fixes in the online mode based on the online beta feedback.
• Added a ping restriction when connecting to Online multiplayer.
• Added ping lock in the online mode (To prevent people with high ping to disturb other people games)
• If a player disconnects mid-game in online multiplayer it will become an AI.
• If the master host leaves the game, other player may become the new host (The current level will reset)
• Upgraded the game engine version.
• Big improvements on how the game controls are shown to the player.
• Revised the anticipation times of several attacks, everything should be faster now.

• Added hit particles to improve the hitting feeling.

Hello! the Online beta is here, come help us improve it by participating :D

Fellow A Gummy's Life players, the time has come. After a few months developing it, we are ready to release the first beta of the Online multiplayer version of A Gummy's Life.

• How to Opt-in?

  
  
  • Since this is a beta release you need to enter this code: "AGLO20182018" into the beta's tab, to do so follow this steps: Right click A Gummy's Life on Steam > Properties > Beta tab > Add code in the field > Select "onlinebeta" in the dropdown > Accept and download the new version!

• Beta? What does this mean?

  
  
  • Since making online multiplayer for this physics-based action game is very hard, we want to reach the end users with the best version that we can deliver them. This mean that the current state is a Beta version where we would be hearing your thoughts and feedback to improve this version before releasing it to everyone.

• How can we, the users. help you?

  
  
  • We would love to hear your feedback in our discussion forums, call your friends, test everything, break it if you can, but tell us how, we'll fix it, we promise.

• What is included in the online beta?

  
  
  • Currently there's only Deathmatch mode and 7 levels, we will be adding more levels in the following weeks. Everything else is the same.

We also created a Discord server for you to join!

Now with some patch notes:

• Added Online beta.
• Revised the anticipation times of several attacks, everything should be faster now.
• Overall improvements in the controls.
• AI now is able to grab and throw you.
• Added hit particles to improve the hitting feeling.
• Various AI improvements.
• Various UI animation improvements.
• First profile is now autoselected when selecting a character.
• Added more robots in Robox.
• King of Hill gummy roll can no longer appear over obstacles.
• Minor performance improvements.
• Fixed the camera on Training sometimes flying away.
• Black fog bug on Arigatothewater is now fixed! yay!
• And as always more little bug fixes that may or may not be noticed by you, but we see them! :)

Hello! It's been a hard one, but here we are with another juicy update!

• 3 New Game Modes avalaible.
  • Team Deathmatch - Wanted to play with a friend in the same team? Now you can! up to 4 teams fighting each other.
  • King of the Hill - Don't always fight, be tactical, conquer the zones faster than your opponents.
  • Hot Potato - It's hot, it's coming, pass the hot potato between your enemies so they explode, the last one standing wins!
• 2 New levels!
  • Robox - Escape the robots coming for you, fight with the boxes, don't let the conveyor belts get you!
  • Grousky - To the sky they say, fight and run, don't fall!
• 2 New unlockable characters, the Burger and the Cherry.
  • With the new way to unlock them, a new challenger aproaches! Fight the Big Gummy to unlock it, will you be able to defeat it?
• A Gummy's Life now supports 6 new languages
  • Simplified Chinnese
  • Japanese
  • Russian
  • German
  • French.

• Make fun on your opponents with the new taunt system, use your arrows/d-pad to use them!

Hello! today we are updating with some fixes and improvements!

• Improved some performance in the gummies' physics.
• Fix: You could stay alive if you landed in the wood frame at Track 'n Splash.
• Moved up A Frog's Life camera to improve the gameplay.
• Zombarn's Tractor and A Frog's Life cars won't shake the screen anymore.
• Fixed the score screen showing 1 point sometimes to the second player.
• The middle platform on The Rolling now only shows up at the end.
• AI switch areas in The Rolling some seconds before.
• Fixed the Egg being unable to move after getting up.

Hello! Another update just released for A Gummy's Life.

• Added two new characters, the Egg and the Melon. (The egg is an unlockable character, let's see if you guys discover it!)
• Added a new level, The Rolling!
• Camera rework to better fit the characters in the screen.
• Improved the grabbing system, let us know what you think!
• Improved loading time of the levels.
• Improved how the IA handles dodging obstacles (Cannonballs on powxels, Radial saw on RobotWars, Holes in Beecareful and so on...)
• Lots of small improvements and fixes.

Hello! Today we are updating A Gummy's Life with a ton of new improvements!

• New Juice Splat system.
• New profile system so you can customize the name and controls for you and your friends (Select your profile in the selection screen with RB - LB)
• Improved the lift system.
• Soften and improved character movements.
• Visual and vibration improvements when hitting other characters.
• Improved punch system and aiming.
• The AI now has unique names and are shown on the scoreboard.
• You can enable/disable XInput in the options.
• You can now turn off the announcer voice.
• New option avalaible to end the game when there is only AI left.
• Added missing sounds in some levels.
• Overall improvements on the feel and gameplay.
• Enabled cloud saving.
