After the launch, it became extremely clear that the game in its current state wasn't up to both community's and our own standards. As such, our team has spent the whole week working on both technical issues and bugfixing. Tackling most of the reported problems and more, we hope this version of Demon Peak is more up to everyone's liking. Sadly, it has become apparent that we can't keep/add the Mac support to our game. The problem is related to framework and system we use and there isn't much we can do in regards to this at this point of the development. Additionally, this is possibly our only and final patch to the game. With some of our team members leaving the project already and our publisher's lack of support for post-launch development, the rest of our team doesn't have the energy nor time to keep working on the game at this moment. Thank you all for the support and feedback, -Most of the Demon Peak team Changelog - Maps! - Maps are now available in Inventory - Hold Inventory button (default is TAB) to have half visible map during gameplay - Balancing - Some enemies have less HP - Balanced damage dealt by enemies - Changes to enemy placement - Fixes - (Hopefully) All Tilesets are visible - "Teleportation" fix which caused Player to spawn inside walls or to wrong rooms - Fixed broken Boss - Fixed broken achievements (Speed Demon, Single Credit Clear) - Game should work on Linux - Game should work on most Windows computers (DirectX based build) - Fixed broken Chests and added few more around the game - Gameplay - Changes to some levels/rooms whatever you call them - You have to kill all bosses before you are able to access Final Area - Added missing Powerup - Added missing max Health & Essence pickups - Added missing "Hidden Powerup" (available from start) and removed Achievement related to it - Other - Added support for 21:9 aspect ratio - Windows build uses DirectX - Loses some controller support - OpenGL based build (same as on Launch) available via "opengl_for_windows" branch - Mac support offically dropped

[IMPORTANT] A complete uninstall and deletion of past all game files (excluding the Content/Data folder, which you should keep for save files and settings) is heavily recommended for the game to run successfully. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the launch, it became extremely clear that the game in its current state wasn't up to both community's and our own standards. We feel that you people deserve a response from us the publisher on the games current situation. As a counterpoint to the claims presented by some people, we have been quite lenient and supportive of the development of the game, for example, by pushing the release date twice as the team requested it. It is true we did not allow the game to be published as an early-access title or delay the launch any further, but these claims ignore the fact of how we allowed this twice during the year and other supportive actions. However, we could not push the date any further than that due to reasons Im not at liberty to discuss on this venue. Thank you for reading this.

We've fixed the primary issues regarding the launch of the game - as such, Demon Peak is in a playable state. However, the game is still rough around the edges and we'll continue to update the game with fixes daily, starting from this instant. We're doing our best to deliver a satisfactory product for every one of you. Thank you for your understanding! -Demon Peak team

Due to unforeseen difficulties and publishing contract, we had to publish game a bit too early to our liking. As such, it seems that our current build doesn't work. We're fixing this at this very moment, and we'll notify you instantly when the problem is fixed! Thank you for your understanding -Demon Peak team

First of all, big thanks for everyone showing their support and interest in our product. We find it hard to belive that our little project interests people to this extent!
Due to technical issues, we're forced to delay the release of Demon Peak by one full week. We hope you understand that this for everyone's benefit, as we are a little developement team with limited resources.
To end on a positive note, I'm happy to reveal our new title screen:
Happy summer to everyone!
