After almost two years of development, Earth's Greatest Defender is ready for early access! The game will be available for free on Steam on November 17th. You can add it to your wishlist by visiting its Steam page.
EGD is a game about flying through levels using the grappling hook, obliterating hundreds of enemies with classic weapons, and rescuing all the hidden civilians.

The initial release will feature an action packed campaign with over 10 levels, a speedrun mode, as well as multiplayer deathmatch.
The game will be released in early access as there is still a ton that I would like to add, but it has reached a point where it is ready to be played by everyone who enjoys fast shooters, explosive gameplay, and grappling hooks.
The roadmap is public on Trello, and any upcoming user suggestions/feedback will most likely be added to it.

An in-game level editor is also included so you can create your own challenges. If you create something unique, send it to me it might just get featured in the game!
Can't wait to defend Earth with you all next month!
After over a year of development, I'm happy to announce that I've published the Steam page for Earth's Greatest Defender!

The plan for the game has remained the same since day one. It has always been a game about shooting aliens in the most badass way possible with the help of your trusty grappling hook. The more explosions and particles, the better.
I'm hoping to open the game to early access this summer, and keep iterating based on user feedback. It is already available for web at egd.tap2play.io, along with standalone builds, but is not expected to be stable just yet. Much is still subject to change but if the game sounds like something you'd enjoy, give it a try and submit your feedback!
The game will be free on Steam and itch.io. The goal is to provide a fun experience for everyone, and have many community made creations rather than paying my bills.
