We're incredibly excited to announce that the Gold Mountain content update is now available. Free for everyone who owns Where The Water Tastes Like Wine on Steam, the Gold Mountain update introduces new tales focusing on the experience of Chinese Americans and their impact on American history and culture. It also introduces full Chinese language support thanks to the amazing work of a wonderful Chinese localization team led by Ryan Zhang.

The update also introduces a variety of performance and quality-of-life improvements, including the following:

General bug fixes and Quality of Life Improvements
Improved Performance
Fixes to Story Locations
Improved controls
Addresses several localization bugs and issues
