Hey all~ Our little indie studio, Ithaqua Labs, just released a new game to Steam! https://store.steampowered.com/app/817860/Perceptions_of_the_Dead_2/ It's a goofy, spooky story that follows a live-streamer in her search for a ghost hunter. It features a few familiar voices from the Book of Gray Magic series that you may recognize, as well as lovely music from Johnathan Johnson. With this game release, we hope to spend some time going back to Brilliant Shadows and Pale Spectrum and doing a bit of maintenance in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Fixed a define where Mox3 was causing games to crash. If you had this error, trying using a slightly earlier save and the problem should be fixed. If it persists, please copy+paste and report the issue so I can pin point your exact problem! Thank you.

There have been minor bug patches fixing a great deal many minor issues. More than we properly documented before fixing to be honest. Thank you to all who have helped us catch bugs!

Fixed a bug that was making a scene be skipped. Fixed Igor from floating during a scene. Added a proper End Game screen. Added more credits to extras > credits. Updated/polished kitchen_mountain bg Added 24 missing voice lines > Terra, Sword, Z Refined Progress Map a bit more

The game is out at last! The game is fully playable, complete with tons of unique endings and a new progress tracker (under extras) where you will light a constellation as you experience each unique branching path and ending! ------------------ There are over 12,000 voiced lines, more pieces of art than we'd care to count, and as many words as a Brandon Sanderson novel. Pale Spectrum is a leviathan of a game and one we are immensely proud of. That said: We're not done yet! Those of you who have been following us from the beginning might notice that a few backer stretch goals are missing. Namely: the 'Evil Route' which is a continuation of the evil Ending from Brilliant Shadows and the Journal of the High Witch. (The credits are barebone as well, but we'll flesh those out!) The truth is that we simply weren't able to get these to a finished state before release. The good news is that we have all the assets available and most of the work done for both and they will be added in a free patch in the very near future! So please have at it, try out the game and tell us what you think! Yes, we know it's practically inevitable that there will be a few bugs or a missing voice line or two, but we will be actively working on the game and patching it constantly!
