First there was the Exodus – when survivors of a great war left the ruins of the Galactic Core behind in search of a new home in the stars. Scattered worlds were claimed on the fringe of the galaxy. Each pocket of survivors held on to their isolated set of worlds while trying to rebuild under the great law of Shalun. Three centuries later, technology has brought them back together again. Discovery of the hyperwarp has bridged what was once unimaginable distances between far-flung colonies, long-lost families, and political factions.
With that reunification has come great economic prosperity. The hyperwarp reestablished the transportation of cargo, goods, and technologies between the quadrants – but it has also brought great strife. Political rivalries have been rekindled, blood has been shed in age-old feuds, and the fires of war have been stoked. Amidst the political infighting, a ruthless revolution is rising – and the fervent explorers of the hyperwarp have awoken something that was better left asleep.

Our very first game, Star Traders RPG, took hundreds of thousands of gamers on an interstellar adventure. The success of Star Traders and its overwhelming positive reception helped to launch Trese Brothers Games. We reached out to our fan base of Star Traders Captains with our latest KickStarter campaign and pitched our ambitious plan for an all-new open world sci-fi RPG.

Captain and officers, another update and some fancy new outfits are touching down at the starport. One of the new outfits is the matchy-match for the update released in #373, we\'ve improved the Contact weighting tables to ensure all the new Contacts we have been adding show up fairly, we\'ve buffed engine stats for Level 8 craft and tuned the maintenance cost for craft level 6-8 to make sure they didn\'t run away with the math.

Our Save Game Policy and Updates
[p align=\"start\"]We are now including our saved game policy in all game updates so our commitment (to you!) is clear for all new and veteran players alike. Here goes -[/p][p align=\"start\"]No saved game will ever be invalidated by an update. All new content and features will be added immediately to all saved games (with the reasonable exception of new game options). You never have to restart your save if you don\'t want to. This is a studio commitment that we have made and kept for many years and games. We stand by it. So do not stress about updates to your favorite space RPG or any game made by Trese Brothers.[/p]2 New Outfits!

We have a new pirate or scavenger outfit available and a military marine outfit that releases the one previously released in Update #373 since we know (and always hear about!) how everyone loves to make their crew so matchy-matchy-match-match. Glad we could deliver this matching look in a reasonable time frame!

With Update #375, we have pushed the engine stats of Agility and Speed higher for Level 8 Craft to ensure they properly exceed the lower level craft and justify their higher investment. Your top tier, snooty, Wing classes are sure to demand the very best, and these are the best!
We\'ve also reviewed one of the costing equations used to generate the maintenance cost for craft and found that it started to \"run away\" after level 6, spiking too hard. With Update #375, we\'ve pulled that equation\'s end range back into the reasonable range by enforcing some caps on the maintenance price of all craft above level 6. This helps the most with level 7 and 8 craft but does have some marginal improvement for the cost of keeping level 6 craft in your hangar.
Fixes and Typos
A huge thanks to everyone who is still reporting the little things in the game - or has reported them in the past. We have a backlog of minor tweaks, rewrites and typos to adjust and are always watching the crash logs for places we can improve as well.
