Fixed a few bugs!

We just released an update to Slide!! that fixes the following issues:

Levels created on one platform (Windows/Mac/Linux) were not playable on other platforms (due to a difference in the date format)
When uploading a level to the Workshop, the description will now include the Target Moves and Target Times automatically (see example below)
Re-enabled post-processing (which was turned off in the last update)
'Turbo Mode' is now OFF by default (for new players)

Slide!! just got a massive update!

The new version of Slide!! has just been released and there are a lot of new features:

Built-in level editor
Steam Workshop integration
Turbo Mode!
Various bug fixes and improvements

We hope the level editor is as user-friendly as can be but we will add guides and tutorials as needed. You can upload your levels to Steam Workshop directly from the editor but you must first play test them to prove that the "target time" and "target moves" are achievable.

You can "Get Levels" from the Steam Workshop while in-game. Go to the PLAY menu and select "Downloaded Levels". There is a button labelled "GET LEVELS" and this will open the Steam overlay and take you straight to the Workshop. Subscribe to as many levels as you want and Steam will automatically download the levels to your machine. Go back to the game and click on "Refresh" to see the levels and then start playing! We look forward to playing your creations! This new version also includes "Turbo Mode". This makes time go at double speed which is useful if you want to experiment to find solutions to a level. When you have found a solution you can turn Turbo Mode off (via the Pause screen) and this will allow you to set the best possible time for a level.

Turbo Mode!

As well as the new level editor and Steam Workshop integration, the new version of Slide!! will include a "Turbo Mode"...because sometimes you are in a hurry and you can't wait around for those Sliders to go at their own speed! steamhappy

We've been busy adding a level editor to Slide!! and integrating the game with Steam Workshop. We are in the final testing stages at the moment and will be releasing the new version very soon. Here's a sneak peek at the editor:

Slide!! is coming to Steam very soon!

We've been getting the Steam version of Slide!! ready (with the addition of achievements and better graphics) and soon you will be able to play the game on Windows, Mac and Linux/SteamOS. Slide!! is a puzzle game. All you have to do is slide each block (or "Slider") on to the appropriate goal square. However, once you start a Slider moving, it will not stop unless it hits something (either a wall or another Slider). The game comprises 10 Tutorial levels that teach you how to play, then there are 25 Easy, 25 Medium, 25 Hard and 15 Bonus levels. In order to unlock levels you must earn stars. You earn one star for solving the puzzle, a second star for solving within a certain time limit, and a third star for doing so in the target number of moves (or fewer). Even if you earn three stars on all levels, you can re-play to try and beat your personal best. The question is: what happens if you 3-star all levels?
