Hi everyone! Okay, first off, it's been quite a while. We've gotten a lot of feedback from the previous versions, and a lot has been going on behind the scenes since the last update, but we just wanted to give you all another taste on a newer version of the Gold Edition. Announcing: Real Farm - Gold Edition

Hi everyone! It's been quite a while since there's been an update for Real Farm, but here I am with some great news! Introducing, Real Farm - Gold Edition. This Gold Edition comes with all previously released DLCs (Potato Pack & Grnes Tal map), various quality of life improvements, optimized gameplay and polished game mechanics. Owners of the base game wil automatically get this Gold Edition, but the best thing is, you can already try out the beta version of the Gold Edition right now! This way we want to gather feedback from you guys to find overall improvement points. But HOW? I'll tell you: 1. Head over to your Steam Library 2. Right click Real Farm and click 'properties' 3. Go to the 'Betas' tab 4. Select the Real Farm - Gold Edition beta from the drop down above 5. Click close, let the game update and play! Patch 1.1.2 is now live! Job board bug is fixed!

Hi everyone! Today I've got some good news, because we just issued another patch! This one is primarily focussed on the bug which resulted in jobs running out on the job boards. This meant that players got stuck and they couldn't progress the game. With patch 1.1.2, this should be fixed now! We also fixed some other things, which you can find right here:

  • Fixed a critical issue where no jobs would be available to the player in both career and free mode
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to drive though the lake, players can now reach the island
  • Fixed some localization issues
  • Improved texture quality throughout multiple places within the game
  • Improved position of different assets throughout multiple places within the game

Patch 1.1.1 is live now!

Hi all! It's Marten here! Since the launch of our DLC a few weeks back, I received some more bugreports. There's been some really extensive ones, so first off, I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to let us know! I'm happy to tell you right now that we've patched many problems that arised with the DLC's launch and version 1.1.1 is now live in the beta branch! Are you not participating in the beta branch yet? Join now! Right click Real Farm in your Steam Library, click 'properties' and select the 'BETAS' tab. There, you should select the 'Beta' branch from the drop-down box (if it's not there, please restart your Steam client). If we don't encounter any problems over the weekend, the patch will be pushed to the default branch next week! Now, onto the fixes! Here's a list of everything in the patch:

  • Improved performance
  • Improved stability
  • Improved spawn locations for equipment
  • Improved the health level of animals. It's now easier to keep animals healthy.
  • Improved getting into harvesters
  • Improved Mammoth PP4 seed rate
  • Improved overloading speed from harvesters to tippers
  • Fixed multiple localization issues
  • Fixed Corrupt (but successfully loaded) save file causes infinite load
  • Fixed Shadow popping on various points in the game
  • Fixed an issue with opening pause menu / going back to main menu
  • Fixed Mammoth SP-8 clearing the field issue
  • Fixed soft lock when selling equipment while purchasing farm
  • Fixed Hercules RP200 drags over the grounds when attached
  • Fixed potato crop can't be erased with plows or cultivators
  • Fixed Hercules RP200 tipper couldn't contain feed
  • Fixed a crash during 'Learning the Basics' when exiting the mission and getting into another vehicle
  • Fixed an issue with workers that leave the field in a harvested state when plowing
  • Fixed color choice of blue for large potato harvester does not work
  • Improved over loading time from the harvesters
  • Fixed Hercules tipper potato animation
  • Fixed an issue with the map target indicator field information not changing
  • Fixed double field types on the border of fields on the Grünes Tal Map
  • Fixed Rival MX12 did not operate with Comet harvester
  • Fixed Mammoth FT 8250 Physic issues
  • Fixed Mammoth PP4+ fertilizer issue
  • Fixed an issue where job would disappear from the job board after DLC update
  • Fixed the Caldera N/120 issues with Fern CX4 Plow and other plows
  • Fixed an issue where 'Learn to Harvest' job cannot be completed
  • Fixed an issue where failing your first job in the Grünes Tal map gives you a lot of new tractors
  • Added more vehicle and attachment spawning point to player farms

Hello again everyone! A combined patch (1.0.9 and 1.0.10) is now available for testing on the beta branch! On Wednesday, these changes will be pushed to the main branch, granted we're not running into any issues. Are you not participating in the beta branch yet? Join now! Right click Real Farm in your Steam Library, click 'properties' and select the 'BETAS' tab. There, you should select the 'Beta' branch from the drop-down box (if it's not there, please restart your Steam client). Here's the list of fixes and added features for this update:

  • Re-balanced yield for harvesting
  • Re-balanced income from selling produce
  • Fixed a bug where player was able to activate work mode when attachments were empty

Real Farm Status Update 14 December 2017

Hello everyone! Marten here, Community Manager at SOEDESCO. Today I'd like to talk with you about Real Farm's launch, its status and some of the plans we have for the future. On 20 October 2017, the game launched for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. I admit, we've had a rough launch. There's things we should've done differently, but that doesn't take away the fact that we are still dedicated to keep improving the game. After launch, we've received a lot of feedback and we've started working on the game even further right away. Here's a very brief overview of the most notable fixes and patches we've done since launch

  • The entire map got revamped. Textures got improved, hills got added and amount of foliage got increased which makes the game even more pleasing to the eye and improves the performance of the game as well
  • All vehicle's physics got drastically improved. For instance, the turning radius and braking distance of all vehicles got reduced, which results in an even more realistic experience
  • Added a variety of particle effects to the game, including exhaust smoke, plowing particles and wheel particles
  • Added many control options to the menu, including the option to set primary and secondary hotkeys
  • Loads of bugfixes, most of which have been reported by the community (Thanks all :D)

Real Farm Status & Update 14 December 2017

Let's kick off the weekend! It's time to test patch 1.0.7, as it's now available for testing on the beta branch!   • Fixed a bug where positional audio wouldn't work properly
  • Fixed a bug where the state of the weather wouldn't change anymore
  • Fixed a rare bug where the game wouldn't actually save progress when saving
  • Fixed a bug where icons would swap on the sower action wheel
  • Harvester particles are optimized, making the game run better
  • Attachment action wheel now shows the name of the attachment
  • Attachment action wheel won't be displayed if there is no attachment
  • Further physics-related improvements to vehicles and attachments, which makes glitches even less common

Beta branch update 1.0.5!

Here we go! Another Beta branch update just went live! On Monday, these changes will be pushed to the main branch, granted we're not running into any issues. The most important fix in this update is that we've reduced the turning radius of all vehicles. Driving is way more realistic this way. We've also removed the 'drifting issue' with multiple attachments. When stationary, equipment was drifting away slowly to the side. This has been resolved now! Are you not participating in the beta branch yet? Join now! Right click Real Farm in your Steam Library, click 'properties' and select the 'BETAS' tab. There, you should select the 'Beta' branch from the drop-down box (if it's not there, please restart your Steam client). These are all the fixes we've implemented in this week's beta update:

  • Improved and reduced the turning radius of all vehicles
  • Fixed a save game issue where trees were wrongly rendered after reinstalling
  • Fixed attachment suspension support for all equipment
  • Fixed the drifting issue with Fern X12
  • Fixed the drifting issue with multiple attachments
  • Fixed Sow CL 20 & TTX12 specific issues
  • Improved the physics of all vehicles and attachments. This includes the turning radius, drifting of attachments and results in less getting your vehicles and attachments stuck
  • Improved the 'controls' part of the tutorial by adding a control panel during the start of the tutorial

Hi all We've just updated the beta branch again! Head on in and test it out :) Again, If you want to participate in the beta, right click Real Farm in your Steam Library, click 'properties' and select the 'BETAS' tab. There, you should select the 'Beta' branch from the drop-down box (if it's not there, please restart your Steam client). These are the fixes that should work in the beta branch now:

  • Fixed an issue where brake lights would not work when accelerating
  • Fixed an issue where the harvester header was not reset properly
  • Fixed an issue where vehicles would be stacked after being used by a worker
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to harvest crops that weren't fully grown
  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect image was displayed in the tutorial message
  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to complete seeding jobs with workers
  • Fixed an issue where reputation would appear not to change after completing a job
  • Fixed an issue where the game would continue to run when backgrounded on consoles
  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to get out of a vehicle while standing on a field
  • Fixed an issue where stamina would not deplete while operating a vehicle

Hi all! The Beta build you've been testing has been found stable and we're now pushing it to the main branch, making it the first patch for Real Farm! Thank you all for testing and providing your feedback. A new beta build with new fixes will be uploaded tomorrow on the public beta branch, make sure to check it out tomorrow!   • Fixed an issue where the wrong default quality settings were applied. This was noticable because of very short shadow distance, popping of objects and overall graphics quality.
  • Added mouse sensitivity setting to options menu.
  • Added additional graphics options to options menu.
  • Fixed an issue where regarding high CPU load during the main menu.
  • Fixed an issue where Tobii would generate errors on Linux systems.
  • Fixed an issue where vsync setting was not properly saved.
  • Fixed an issue where Ambient Occlusion setting was not properly saved.
  • Fixed an issue where the job board would not offer new jobs.
  • Fixed an issue where street lights would not turn on at the right time.

SOEDESCO Announces Real Farm


Rotterdam, The Netherlands - August 1, 2017 - Today, SOEDESCO announced that they are working on a new title. Real Farm is the third original SOEDESCO IP. The game will release both boxed and digitally on PlayStation® 4, Xbox One and PC in Q4 of this year. There will also be a PlayStation® 4 Pro, Xbox One X and Nintendo Switch version available soon.
