Hi
For the latest patch I made these fixes and changes:
- Fixed a bug where in certain situations the game stops being paused while using the loading and saving panels.
- Reduced a bit the dificulty spike at the last scenario.
- Added sound effects to the death animations of a few monsters that didn't had them.
- Fixed a bug where the Merfolk Captain had no actions or resistances.
- Fixed a bug where pressing a shortcut key while in the pause menu would stop the game being paused.
- Fixed a few grammar errors in the intro and interlude before Nusquam.
- Fixed a bug where certain visual effects after the last battle didn't had their proper sounds triggered.
- Now the mana bar will show the current mana of an enemy beastmancer if it's his/her turn.
What now?
Now about my plans, hopefully this the last patch that only includes fixes. My priority now is to start adding a few extra features and content. Here's some ideas that I hope to implement in the next months: I would like to add outfits for the main character. These could be found as regular loot and the idea is that they give you small bonuses:
I have a few extra monsters that I want to add (after I prepare them and fix them):
I would also like to add extra lore like monster descriptions and more things to do in the town of Nusquam. I'm thinking of adding other stores or places where you can do more activities, one of my ideas is to add another shrine where you can "feed" a monster to another so they can level up (ideas are welcome here!). As always I'm open to feedback but that doesn't mean that I'm going to be able to make every change you ask. For example, I've received complaints that the Monster Control stat is overpowered and while I understand that, changing it now would cause a lot of problems. I can explain further in the forums in case some of you want a detailed explanation of why this would be a problem. I hope you understand. If the games does better in sales I would like to contact the studio that made the monster models and try to get them to sell me more. Of course, I can't make promises (that studio is pretty dead :P ) but if that happens I think I could add them in a special area, I have a story in mind for a free DLC. Well, that's it for the moment. I hope you are enjoying the game, while this project took everything I had (seriously, I almost went broke) I enjoyed a lot making it and I would like to keep working on it at least for a few months. Regards, Jorge
