The interface of the game is similar to a current desktop operating system. The file explorer, the command terminal or text editor are some of the programs that will be available from the start of the game. As you improve your skills you will encounter new utilities may install and use.
In Grey Hack, terminal has a fundamental role, it is also based on actual unix commands and will be an indispensable tool to perform successfully hacking actions.

All computers and networks are generated procedurally to create a new experience in each game. According to the type of network the security will vary to the point of making practically impossible the penetration in certain systems according to the experience and ability that you have.Social engineering is a powerful tool and, in the most difficult cases, can be very helpful. This means that you can try to trick the user of that computer into giving you their credentials, confidential information about another person, etc.
Going to improve your work station will also be important for more and more professional jobs.
World
Each computer in the network is used by at least one user. Each user lives consistently in the world; go to work, shop online, etc. You can impact directly or indirectly in the life of these people in function of what you do.Main Features

Hello everyone!\nI would like to share with you the latest news about the development.\n\nThe public version can already be considered stable and this means that the next development cycle has already begun. Therefore the public version will not receive updates for a while, (unless there is a need to fix some critical bug) until the development of the Nightly Build ends and merges as usual.\n\nAs many of you already know, the nightly build is the development branch where new game features are added before moving them to the main branch. Initially it will be available only for debuggers, and later once it reaches a playable state, it will open up to all players to help with testing before publishing on the main branch.\n\nAs we saw in the announcement of the last merge , all the planned gameplay elements have been implemented and the Roadmap is almost complete, so we only have one more Nightly build until version 1.0 to get out of Early Access, in which I will focus on finishing the last pending elements of the roadmap.\n\nNow that we already have Music , the elements that remain to be developed include deep bug fixing, a complete Tutorial rework, more missions, QOL improvements, and a complete revision of the logic of the stocks companies in addition to balance and adjustments of existing systems.\n\nOne of the main points of this Nightly is the Tutorial rework. It will expand considerably the current tutorial, with extra visual aids so that it is more intuitive to follow. In addition, a series of special missions will be added that will serve as support to the tutorial, so that the introduction of new game elements to the player is more pleasant and easier to learn. The Manual will also be expanded to try to have the maximum parity possible with the new tutorial, in this way any information can be consulted without necessarily having to restart the tutorial.\n\nThe Nightly build will be available for everyone during Q1 2026, including the new tutorial, the first batch of new missions in the Hackshops and Police Stations, as well as the first adjustments and balancing of the Stocks system.
