If youre unfamiliar with our games, our general How To Play page is a great place to learn how to start a room and connect players to a game. After youve checked that out, hop on back to this page!


Playing with Friends and Family

If you feel confident about your internet connections, just jump onto a videoconferencing service (like Zoom, Discord, or Google Meet). Start a game on your laptop and use the screen-sharing option so that your players can see the game. Everyone can play along on their own mobile devices by using a browser and going to Jackbox.tv. If youre having difficulty getting back to your video conferencing screen from the games full-screen mode, go to the settings in the main lobby and turn off Full Screen Mode.


If youre a Steam fan, you can skip the videoconferencing step and use Steam Remote Play Together. This feature allows you to share your local co-op games online with friends. Using Remote Play Together, only one person needs to own a copy of a Jackbox Games title. Up to four players (or more with faster internet connections) can join.


Discord screen sharing can also be a great option if youre playing on a laptop. You and up to nine of your Discord friends can connect and have both the game and video-enabled. Youll want to see your friends faces when theyre laughing at your responses in .


Some consoles also have screen share or co-stream abilities as long as youre playing with someone who also owns that platform. Instead of streaming, many people have set up an additional webcam in front of their TV as an easier option.


You can stream using many different platforms, but we generally recommend using a PC to stream over a video conferencing service such as Zoom or Discord.


When sharing these ways, we recommend wired internet connections when possible!

To play a themed episode, start the game normally and enter the lobby. The first player in the lobby (the VIP) will have the EPISODES MENU button. Hit that, then enter the custom episode code and press submit.

The lobby will change to reflect that the custom episode has been loaded. Once all the players have joined, you can start the game normally and enjoy those sweet custom prompts! Easy!

An update for Drawful 2 is available now! The new update adds in four additional language options. Players can now enjoy their drawing attempts in German, French, Italian, and Spanish! The International Update is available now as a free digital download for all current Drawful 2 owners. You can buy Drawful 2 today right here on Steam!

  Players will have the ability to create their own Drawful 2 episodes with user-generated prompts!

  Were bringing the new moderation features from The Jackbox Party Pack 7! Moderators will be able to join the game by going to mod.jackbox.tv and entering the room code. By doing this, they will be able to see all prompts and drawings before they appear on screen and remove any from appearing in the game. This is especially useful for streamers and content creators.
  
• Text filtering
  By turning on this setting, the game will automatically filter out offensive content and/or hate speech. There are three settings available for filtering: Off, Moderate, and Strict.
