A small update to the input system: - When using a game controller, the right stick now pans around the map. (Same behavior as dragging with the mouse.) - When moving between two far-distant panels with the d-pad or arrow keys, the game may scroll "zig-zag" along the pipe rather than jumping straight. (This is a quick decorative animation which was already used in mouse-mode; now it's applied to pad/arrow-key mode as well.)

Adjusted the controller button mappings. (B/circle is now "cancel", which is the usual setup.) Slight translucency effect on the "game has ended" pop box. (Because why not.)
Updated the Unity framework and some of the internal code. No user-visible changes.

A behind-the-scenes update.
I've uploaded a new beta release of Meanwhile. To try it, select Properties, Betas, and then select "beta - beta" from the menu. (The beta so nice we named it twice...) (I bet I've used that joke before and then forgot.)
I was able to do some Steam Deck testing this weekend, and I'm happy to say that Meanwhile works great. The only hiccup is that when you launch, it brings up a standard Unity select-your-resolution dialog box. You have to click through this by tapping "Ok" on the touchscreen. After that, everything works as designed using the thumbsticks. Left-stick to select a panel, A to advance. Menu button to bring up the menu. All smooth. Or you can play directly on the touchscreen by tapping panels. That works too. I will do my best to remove the launch dialog in a future release. In the meantime, enjoy your Steam Decking.
