Hello everyone! It's been an interesting start for us last week and we would like to thank everyone who played the game, especially the ones who also bought it ;) Special thanks also to people who reviewed the game on Steam, Orlygift, YouTube or elsewhere. I am personally very happy about the CrypticHybrid's live stream, which happened on our launch day, where he showed the main aspects of Famousity and how to have fun playing it even with the bots. Review of The Good Slaveship "Lollipop" showed us that we might want to do a better job when presenting the game and its features to the public to make it more appealing to new players. These and other reviews are showing that Famousity is fun to play and you quite enjoyed it :) What's next, though? Well, our biggest challenge is to attract more players to have big enough player base, so you can enjoy playing against other people not only bots. We have few ideas we are discussing internally, but nothing definitive yet. During the next days we will be monitoring the player number situation to help us make some decisions. It's time and we would like to welcome you into the Famousity universe, where famous people from history meet each other to form legendary teams.
When you play the game the first time we strongly advice you to play tutorial - "HOW TO PLAY" in menu item, which will explain all the navigation and most importantly the game rules. After finishing it, you should be able to understand basic strategies of how to create groups and how to score points to win matches. You can then choose to play against the bots ("PLAY WITH BOTS") or you can directly jump into the games with other players - "FIND GAME". Lobby will be created as soon as another player(s) is found. In the lobby you can wait for other players (up to 4 players) or you can play with the players currently in. In such case just set yourself as "READY". When all the players in the lobby are set as "READY" your match will start. If you have friends you want to play with, you can use "CREATE GAME" to create a lobby and invite your friends into the game. You can use "PUBLISH" to set the lobby public so also strangers can join you. Don't forget to check your "DAILY CHALLENGES", so you can gain some additional points ;)

Everything is ready and set for our grand launch. During the last two weeks we have been mostly working on testing and bugfixing, polishing and promoting the game. We believe that during the last weeks we have attracted many players who will enjoy Famousity and we will have awesome start on Tuesday, April 3rd.
We have moved to a better production server which will ensure thousands of concurrently running matches, which should me more than enough :D We would like to thank all the people that helped us during the past several months with the testing. During that time database has collected lot of data which much of it is obsolete and we will perform wipe, to clear everything (even leaderboard), which also gives our new players a fresh start and the chance to fight for the top spot in the leaderboard. Although those of you who already have access to the game can start to build up some lead :)
Playing Famousity with other people, whether with friends or strangers is much fun, so don't forget the spread the word about the upcoming release. See you then with our official release ;) Famousity Team

SERVER MIGRATION AND DATABASE WIPE
We have moved to a better production server which will ensure thousands of concurrently running matches, which should me more than enough :D We would like to thank all the people that helped us during the past several months with the testing. During that time database has collected lot of data which much of it is obsolete and we will perform wipe, to clear everything (even leaderboard), which also gives our new players a fresh start and the chance to fight for the top spot in the leaderboard. Although those of you who already have access to the game can start to build up some lead :)

Or maybe you just prefer to play against computer ;) Our bots are now more challenging. We plan to go further and add more rules, so they are even harder to beat. On the other hand our matchmaking needed some love and we have fixed some small issues, added chat to the lobby and improved waiting experience. Now, in case of long waiting times, you don't have to just sit and wait, but you can play with bots. When a match is found you will get notified and you can join the match with other players. Here is our exhausting list of changes: - added challenge hints during a match - added create group "black hole" effect - added explosion effect for Discard action - added winner and loser music - improved card handling sounds (deal, play) - added outlines to game texts for better visibility - improved card selection outline graphics - improved table leg graphics - fixed gallery incorrect loading when changing categories Thanks!!!

People You can view all of your people you have collected so far.
When going to a person's details, you are able to see person's biography as happened in Famousity universe. Not all people have their bio ready currently, but we plan to add that for every person as the development goes on. If you want to help us with creating a (funny) bio, we are happy to credit you ;)

You can also view detail of a group.
In the future, as the main concept of Famousity is to create legendary groups of famous people, you will be able to "sell" duplicated groups (created more than once) for GameCoins, which will be used to buy an extra (premium) content in the game. Everyone will be able to see others' stories and upvote for any of them, which allows creator to gain some GameCoins. In the current implementation of Gallery you can browse all of your groups you have created so far and see what awesome parties have been created. People You can view all of your people you have collected so far.
When going to a person's details, you are able to see person's biography as happened in Famousity universe. Not all people have their bio ready currently, but we plan to add that for every person as the development goes on. If you want to help us with creating a (funny) bio, we are happy to credit you ;)

We are working hard to bring Famousity to life and we are slowly, but surely getting there. We have started our social campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in December and now we are ready to launch it also on our target platform - Steam.
