Game doesn't start

Solution:

1. Reboot Machine/Steam 2. Try turning anti-virus off. 3. Apparently, win10 isnt correctly using the Java enviroment packaged with the game: The fix is below: Navigate to Java's site and download Recommended Version 8 Update 73 (filesize: 718 KB) 2. Navigate to the JAR file in C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonBattlestation Harbinger (Harbinger.jar) 3. A launcher will open for you to select resolution etc. 4. Play If the two above doesn't work contact support@bugbyte.fi, preferably with a crash report if you have one.

Linux Problem:

Starting game gives an "java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError"

Solution:

Install package xorg-xrandr from repository

Problem:

Can't click on anything in the game

Solution:

Set user interface scaling to 100% in your operating system.

Problem:

Surface pro or other machine. Graphics are scaled wrong on the screen.

Solution:

Go to where you have Battlestation Harbinger installed, typically “C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonBattlestation Harbinger” right click on harbinger.exe file and select properties, then go to the Compatibility tab at the top and check “Disable display scaling on high DPI settings” near the bottom.
