With the holidays fast approaching, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported Masochisia but during development and after launch. This game is not... very traditional... so I sincerely appreciate all the support and emails I've received over the last few months. As a way of saying "thank you" to the awesome community here on Steam, I will be providing the official game soundtrack for free to anyone who would like to have it. Yes, free. Put on some headphones, dim the lights, close your eyes and step into the atmospheric world of Masochisia...
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE SOUNDTRACK?
You can download the Official Soundtrack here: http://www.masochisia.com/ost/Masochisia%20OST.zip An original score composed by Jacob Wilkins, the Masochisia soundtrack is a blend of both classical instrumentals and several atmospheric tracks focused purely on ambiance and mood. Featuring 12 tracks, the music combines elements of wood and wind instruments with the occasionally ethereal voice-work and forbiddingly ominous sound design. The official soundtrack includes 2 unreleased songs not included in the full game. Listen closely and you may hear a message or two... TRACK LISTING
- A Valley
- Beyond The Trees
- Dirt & Blood
- Home Sweet Home (Ambient)
- It Begins (Ambient)
- (The) Masochisia Theme
- Sacrament (Ambient)
- Sanctuary
- Tears of the Sky
- The Shrine (Ambient)
- The Unused
- The Unused II

Happy Halloween!
This is Jon Oldblood, just wanted to post a quick update to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive with the reviews, emails, direct messages etc. I never really thought anyone would want to play a game like Masochisia and I've been blown away by the support I've received. If you haven't had a chance to play Masochisia yet, Halloween is the perfect time! PLUS, the game is on sale for the Holiday! Check out what some of these websites had to say:
Reviews
...A narrative-heavy horror adventure that places you in the role of an abused boy who may be on the path to becoming a brutal killer. It's spooky, effective and well done. - Polygon This game is not for the faint of heart... Masochisia is a refreshing change of pace for the point and click horror genre. - The Escapist "I had a hard time writing this review because I had so many questions that haunted me over the days after my playthrough! 85/100" - OPNoobs "If youve got no problem delving into some of the darker corners of the human mind, this is a solid pick-up." - Twinfinite ...When you realize that many of the events portrayed in Masochisia actually happened, the more uncomfortable youll become. Art imitating life may prove a little too much for some to stomach. - The Digital Fix
What's Next for Masochisia
I'm excited to say that I do have some small updates planned for Masochisia! These updates will likely be coming in November and will include some small tweaks and changes including some updates to dialogue and maybe some new secretive events? Maybe! We'll see... The additional events will depend on how successful I will be able make some things work but regardless, there will be some updates posted that does include a few small tweaks and fixes. I'm also planning on sharing some free stuff for everyone that owns the game in November, so stay posted there! I will post another announcement once that is live for everyone. What kind of free stuff? You will just need to wait and see! If you're interested in knowing what I will be working on next, feel free to follow my Twitter account: https://twitter.com/jonoldblood Thank you again for all of your support at launch and have an amazing Halloween! More news coming in the next few weeks!

But-- that's not the question, the question is what are you going to do about it? Yes, you're crazy. But so was your Father, your Mother, your Brother. So, if we're being honest with each other, we can't say we're all that surprised are we? The visual hallucinations, the aural terrors, the sensory overloads… more daily routine for you than a burden! If anything, you seem to be almost thriving- in your own peculiar way...
