Greetings future ODIN team members!
It's already been 3 years since we released Conarium, and today we're launching our newest title: Transient.
We're very excited to reveal that the team behind Conarium and the Darkness Within series, now reborn as Stormling Studios, is currently working on a disturbingly macabre new game! With Transient, our signature Lovecraftian themed adventure talents are combined with futuristic, cyberpunk ingredients, resulting in a unique setting and storyline.

We’re delighted to announce that we will be publishing new developer Lazarus Studio’s first game, Lunacy: Saint Rhodes, a first-person survival horror game in which you’re never truly safe - as the game watches your every move and adapts to your playing style. The game is slated for release for PC in 2019.
In Lunacy: Saint Rhodes, you seek the truth behind your family’s ghastly murder. Investigate the history of your ancestral home in the town of Saint Rhodes, while fighting to survive what haunts it. The Author, an advanced AI, observes how you play and changes the course of the game based on your actions. You are being watched; never alone, never safe.

Lunacy: Saint Rhodes is a truly terrifying experience, unravelling the horrific tale of the events in the town of Saint Rhodes. Frightening creatures roam the streets, guided by The Author, as you explore the minutely detailed town, in search of clues to help you survive. No single visit to the town will be the same, with multiple non-linear paths leading to different outcomes.
An early gameplay demo of the game was featured on itch.io and was covered extensively on YouTube having been viewed over 4 million times, most notably by markiplier who noted that Lunacy: Saint Rhodes “is a terrifying experience”. The commercial release promises to be a vast improvement on that early demo.

A tribute to the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Conarium is a homage to the events of At the Mountains of Madness, the classic 1935 Lovecraft novella.
You, as Frank Gilman, open your eyes inside a room filled with strange, pulsating noises. Patterns of lights executing a Danse Macabre on the walls is projected by a queer device on the table. Having recalled nothing other than that youre in Upuaut, an Antarctic base located near the South Pole, you find the place deserted and have a distinct feeling of something being terribly wrong. Somehow knowing that your memories cannot guide you enforces a strange feeling of vulnerability, a familiar yet alien sensation of being a part of a peculiar whole... Soon you will discover that having used the device during the expedition, you have died but then returned subtly changed, speaking of strange memories and of strange places. You have lost something important or gained something sinister...
Explore the Antarctic base, as well as dreams and visions. Study clues, unlock secrets but avoid macabre beings at all cost.

Conarium, which refers to a sinister device hooked up to the brain, is inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s novella “At the Mountains of Madness”, but largely plays after the events in the original story, set in an Antarctic base. Expect puzzling, mystical, ominous, even menacing events in weird surroundings, in a place beyond normal human perception, all beautifully realized using the Unreal 4 engine.
Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder says: “Developed by our friends at Zoetrope Interactive, lauded by fans for the acclaimed Darkness Within horror adventure series, Conarium will definitely satisfy fans of the horror genre – and beyond. This game honors Lovecraft’s work with its portentous and sinister undertones, and promises to be a wonderfully created piece of art.”
