Today is a special day, today is the day Domiverse becomes completely free on Steam!

As Domiverse has been out for a long time and because it is easier than ever to play with your friends using the Steam Remote Play Together, we have decided to allow a maximum of players to have access to the game by making it completely and definitely free.

We would like to take a moment to thank all the people who bought the game and all the people who supported us by any means. You are truly amazing! We couldnt dream of a better community.

To reward the early supporters we prepared a gift. To access it, join the Discord server then send a private message to Schminitz with your steam username and email address.

We want to see the whole world (at least half of it) playing Domiverse together. So please, share this news, tell everybody that Domiverse is now completely free on Steam. Hi everyone!

Steam just added a new feature called "Remote Play Together" that will allow you to play local games, but online with friends!

Humilate them by showing how good & OP your favourite character is, but far away from all the hate!

You only need 2 things: the game (one person is enough) and a good Internet connection.


How to play with Remote Play Together?

Right click on a friend in your Steam friend list, and pick the "Invite to Remote Play Together" option, it's that easy. You'll be connected through the cloud to the same game, like if you were playing locally together.

However, the Remote Play Together feature is still in beta, and requires to be on the beta channel of Steam updates.

How to enable Steam beta?

Go to your Steam settings.
In the Account tab, click on "Change" and opt-in for Beta participation. Steam will then restart and you should be good to go! It is also the occasion to see the new Library if you haven't seen it yet.

Here are the changes for the version 1.2.0

- Happy birthday Domiverse!
- Add the japanese, korean and portuguese languages
- Add vibrations on the controllers (can be disabled in the options)
- Optimize some loading of the game (there is one big load after the "Press start" screen)
- Optimize saving and loading data, use an icon to display when the game saves
- Optimize the weight of the game by removing some unused assets
- Lock move after each move on some menu, this avoids changing options when not wanted
- Fix bug when starting too fast on briefing room

Why there is no online inside domiverse?
There are several reasons for the lack of online mode in Domiverse. You know that the game is best enjoyed accompanied by the assumption of some mild physical violence between friends, playing together in front of the TV. But the main reason is simple: Time and Money; it cost a lot for a small team like Haunted Tie to develop a (working!) online mode.

Then we discovered Parsec, a software designed to play any (really any!) games online. We tried it and instantly loved it. Right now, Parsec is the best way to play Domiverse online with your friends.

How it works?
Only one player must possess the game, like when you invite friends for a Pizza / Beer / Domiverse party. This player is the server streaming the game using Parsec and receive inputs from other computers. With the right configuration, related to your internet connections, there is nearly 0 lag.

How to setup?

• You and your friends subscribe to Parsec here https://parsecgaming.com/
  
• Download and install the client
  
• Add your friends using their parsec user name
  
• The host then need to Add a computer and Create a party
  
• You can change the settings of the party to decide which application can be seen by the other players (only Domiverse, the whole desktop, ) and also which inputs you accept to receive (keyboard, controller, )
  
• The other players can join the party by clicking on the friend, then Join
  
• Finally, the host run the game and everyone enjoy it!
  

• Disable VSync in the Client settings to have a lower latency
  
• Reducing resolution helps reducing the lag
  
• The Echo Cancelling included in parsec is not perfect while speaking on discord, you better use VB-Audio Cable
  
• Want to find players or having issue with Parsec? Use their active parsec discord channel
  
• You can also look for players using the domiverse discord channel
  

Hello, Domiverse is still updating!

The major change of this new version is the uploading of all the Domiverse Webcomics inside the game.
