Hi there, proud Strikers! Strikers Edge’s 2nd Beta round ended yesterday, and it was a big success! In total, more than 20,000 players fought on the battlefield, which is HUGE! The Beta was quite useful for us, as you reported a bunch of bugs and other stuff that we need to fix. We can’t thank you enough, as you helped Strikers Edge getting better for its final release next week! Concerning the “Battle With the Devs” stream to define the Steam launch sale, you did pretty well too! We laughed, we shed tears and - most of all - we felt the THRILL OF BATTLE!
Over the 24 battles with us, you guys won 13 of them That’s a 55% win ratio, meaning that the release sale is set to 17%. GG GUYS!!! You can watch the VOD of the streams on our Twitch. So, what’s left now? We’ll work hard on Strikers Edge before the release and week, and we’re counting on you to bring you’re friends and family and have a taste of the most anticipated (?) Hi there, noble Strikers! Yesterday, we launched the first “Battle with the Dev” session to decide the launch price sales amount. A huge thanks to everyone who fought or watched our livestream! Quick figures:

• 7 battles fought
• Players won 3 battles
• Fun Punch Games’ Dev won 4 battles
• The win ratio of the players reached 43%

According to this win ratio, the release sales earned so far is set to 13%... Which is good for you guys, but you can do WAY BETTER! The next “Battle with the Dev” session will be held tomorrow, friday, the 19th of January, from 8PM to 12AM GMT. Feel free to stop by, and get your chance to SHINE by defeating us on our game! As a side note - but nonetheless rather important - many players reported us some bugs and server issues.

As a unique feature for the PC/Steam users, Strikers Edge offers an extended Twitch Integration. Whether you are a pro streamer or you just want to have fun with a group of friends, our Twitch bonuses will give you a full new experience of the game, adding even more epicness to the battles. When you launch the Twitch mode, you will be able to invite your audience to mess up with your matches! Viewers can select modifiers and perks that will spice up the gameplay!

How-To Play Strikers Edge on Twitch

1. Set-up

• Step 1: Connect Strikers Edge to your Twitch channel with a secured logging in the EXTRAS menu.
• Step 2: Start an online game with a friend or alone
• Step 3: Select your characters and the arena

(Note that the Twitch integration only works in online mode.) Now the fun starts! 2. Modifiers Votes A vote period will begin. Chat users will be able to vote for game modifiers via the chat using the command “!voteX”, X being a number between 1-8. The modifiers are:

• Slippery floors
• One shot one kill
• Auto aim - targets moves up and down on its own and you decide when to shoot
• Oversized weapons
• Spam mode - The shooting cooldown is reduced and stamina regen is increased
• Quick charge - charging specials is way faster
• Mini characters
• Lights out - HUD elements disappear

After your chat has voted, two modifiers are selected! Now onto the actual game! 3. Cheers & Boos While playing, chat users will be able to type the command “!join” in order to join the sidelines as a crowd member. Their name appears on top of that crowd member. Crowd members can !boo or !cheer the player on their side! Cheering makes the crowd louder, Booing makes the crowd launch tomatoes or Kappas. 4. Traps & Power ups Viewers can vote on power ups or traps to send down onto the arena to help / screw with the players. Each power is represented by a keyboard key that appears on screen. These keys are mirrored on both sides of the arena so when you are voting you don’t get to pick a precise side, avoiding unfair behaviours. These powers need X amount of votes before triggering and once a power is activated all votes reset to avoid spam.
You now have all the information to go live and challenge your friends and followers online in epic broadcasted battles. Feel free to let us know about your scheduled sessions, we will be pleased to spread the word (just taunt us on @strikers_edge) Also note that this Twitch Integration is open to your suggestions. We already plan to add more interactions, new modifiers and power-ups after release. Again, feel free to let us know what new features you would like to find in this Twitch Mode. To arms everyone! The 2nd beta session starts tomorrow, and now we’re talking serious business. You will have the opportunity to fight us (the Fun Punch Dev Team) and each of your victory will increase the % of the launch sale here on Steam ! What is it all about? Let's give you the full details:

• The second Beta of Strikers Edge begins tomorrow, wednesday January 16 at 5PM GMT and will be up, until the 21st of January!
• Fun Punch Games and Playdius are organizing two special events in which beta players will be able to influence the release pricing of Strikers Edge on January 30.
• Individual beta players will join the stream events and play against the Fun Punch devs. At the end of the events, the win ratio of the players will represent the final release promotion of Strikers Edge on Steam!

When will it be? Streams will take place on: January 17, 5pm GMT / 9pm GMT - 9am PST / 1pm PST January 19, 8pm GMT / 12am GMT - 12pm PST / 4pm PST How does it work? The win rate ratio of the Players versus the Devs will be automatically updated. At the end of the event, the win rate of the Players (%) will be reported to a 0-30 scale, reflecting the final release promotion :

• A 0% win rate induces a 0% release promo
• A 25% win rate induces a 7.5% (8%) release promo
• A 50% win rate induces a 15% release promo
• A 75% win rate induces a 22.5% (22%) release promo
• A 100% win rate induces a 30% release promo
